Pomona Coffee

A pretty coffee (tea) and cake cafe in Richmond.Very reasonably priced for what they serve, a siphon coffee and a slice of cake set for a little over $13. I had a tiramisu.I would love to go back again to try their other coffees.

Staff is very friendly and their items are all very good! Perfect for people who enjoys coffee/tea made with passion with various delicious cakes/cookies!

We arrived at the cafe with high hopes and were instantly disappointed. Apparently, you need to book this restaurant or else you need to wait for 30 minutes. We were about to leave when the waiter said there was a tiny spot in the corner of the restaurant. We sat down unhappily and ordered a Napoleon cake. When it arrived, it looked dry. The style of the Napoleon cake is supposed to be hard and dry, but I enjoy moist cakes better. We tried to eat it, but it just broke into pieces. We also ordered a Hot Chocolate, a Latte, a Cheesecake, and a Pomona house-blend coffee. The cheesecake looked appealing, but when we tried it, it was a little too sweet. They also refrigerated it too long so there was an icy flavour to it. The Pomona house-blend coffee was reasonable. The Hot chocolate and the Latte were surprisingly promising as well. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it if you didn't arrange an appointment at this restaurant. Also, there are English and Chinese menus available; Just ask the staff for it.

Nice clean interior. Friendly and courteous staff. And most importantly, one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had in the Lower Mainland. So many nuances of flavor will dance across your taste buds. Try their siphon brew to get the best experience. As an added bonus, I got to practice my Mandarin: 这里的咖啡好喝吗?" was the first thing I said when I walked in!"

This little cafe is so cute ! With their fancy cakes and specialty teas. Perfect place to spend with your girlfriends!

Delicious cakes and pretty good siphon coffees. Staff are super nice and attentive. Get the Earl Grey chiffon cake if it's available!

A wonderful gem that's worth the trip across the river. The cake was incredibly delicate, and the coffee perfectly brewed. I had the chestnut sponge cake and syphon-brewed yirgacheffe.

My wife bring me to this coffee shop. She likes tea and the decorations there. The cake, sandwiches, tea and coffee are all good. She took some pictures of this shop.The staff there are nice and helpful. They pay good attention to the customers. The place is tidy and clean.My wife told me that she wishes some more fancy chocolate decorations around the cake next time.

What everyone has been saying. It’s a wonderfully cute coffee/tea/cake shop. Had some rose tea and some earl grey. Both yum. The tiramisu a delight. All the cakes looked wonderful. The staff were courteous and generally great at their jobs. Can’t wait to come back. (Came back again and had a tasty sandwich and a slice of heaven, I mean earl grey strawberry cake. Still very impressed by the staff here)
