Very disappointing experience! As a food blogger / foody who enjoys trying out & recommending different places i must say this is a place i most definitely DO NOT recommend. We were a group of 10 people. We were obliged to order as a group rather than each have our own paper and picking our own food selections & quantities. This is a way for them to make money on us. (Which btw the kanda in laval does not work that way & is much less complicated.) The owner was extremely rude & arrogant with us since the moment they sat us down. Once they finally came to take our order after a good 35 minutes the owner came back & questioned us on the amount of sushis we ordered again being super arrogant and giving us very unpleasant attitude speaking loud enough for ppl at the tables around to turn around & look at us. Ive never been so humiliated in a restaurant. The service is such trash that we ended up leaving & going to another restaurant where we had a much better experience.

my 14 year old brother went out with his friends to this place service and food was delicious, but when it came to paying their debit credit machine wasn’t working, and their atm wasn’t working. When my brother went scrounging for the $.13 that he was missing the lady gave him a lecture on how he should leave tip. To me who works in customer service that’s disgusting seeing that he was telling her that that’s all the cash he had left.

I am giving one star because it is not an option to give 0. My mother and I went for supper here on many occasions since we are from Rosemere and its the most convenient location for us. We went again last Monday night, ordered a variety of things as usual. After receiving only half of our order, the waitress came by once again to pick up some plates and never passed by to see us again. We waited 25 minutes before deciding to leave as no one showed any interest in coming to serve us again. There was only one waitress and hostess working that night. When we got to the counter to pay, the hostess agreed that she’d already mentioned to the manager that they shouldve had more staff scheduled and that she refused to add more staff for that night. I left my phone number and name for the manager to call back, and had to call back myself as I’d heard nothing back nearly a week later. When I called, she gave us the excuse that it was busy and she wasnt there that night so there’s nothing she could do. Then she followed these comments by asking us “if we knew how much she had to catch up on after taking vacation?” As a customer, is it my job to do your job? I don’t think so. The woman in charge is the most arrogant person ive ever spoken to in the restaurant industry and thinks she is above everyone. Myself, I work as a waitress and never in my life have I served anyone as terribly as this. Never again, worst experience we’ve ever had.

Edit: 2023, dropping to 1 star. we have stopped going to this location due to the management attitude towards customers and persistent short staff. The very long wait for food is exhausting.Very good quality sushi. Worth the price.The place is a bit too crowded for pandemic though. Staff wears mask, but no other guidelines being followed.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I thought this place really deserved one because people often take time to leave bad reviews but not enough to leave good ones. The food is great and we received our order really fast. We’ve been here a couple of times and yes the food is amazing but the service is really above and beyond. Our waitress came to fill our water almost the second it was empty if not even before. She was very attentive to our needs which made the experience very enjoyable. Thank you for your warm greeting and your amazing service!

Take your hard earned money and go eat somewhere else. They ALWAYS question on the quantity you order. I think I'm the best person that knows if I can finish what I order. Service was alright. Food wasn't good. Didn't bring my card so I was ready to pay with cash. Had no idea how much it would cost so I brought 50$, thinking it would be around 45$ with a 5$ tip. Final was around 49.40$. Gave her the cash and she laughed at my face while giving me a lecture about how you should always give tips. Even said that if I was tight on cash, I should wait until I'm better financially until coming back to eat here so I could tip. Felt like I was nearing my limit in my patience in front of her rudeness, so before I made a scene I left asap.Please if you're going to a sushi place, especially with your family or friends, go look somewhere else. This place is not it. Never going back here ever again.
