Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery
Our dog recently had TPLO surgery. Vancouver Island Vet Surgery, were excellent communicators informing us fully of what to expect, what the surgery entailed, and what recovery would be like. They were available at all times to answer questions before and after surgery. The day of surgery went like clockwork. Post-surgery, when the dressing was removed, the surgery scar was so thin and done to perfection.I highly recommend Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery and can say with confidence that you will be in good hands.

Fantastic! So kind and thoughtful as well as an excellent surgeon. Tara his tech is also wonderful. Thank you so much for looking after Riggs so well x one week after his TPLO surgery his is Bearly limping!! Amazing!

Dr. Sukiani & Tara are awesome! Our dog Sophie just had her second knee fixed. They work after hours. Dr Sukiani has called me on weekends to check on her & says don't hesitate to call if any concerns. He takes time to explain everything before and after surgery. We really appreciate the top quality care Sophie has received. When we drop her off we know she is in good hands!

Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery
Our pup had to have surgery on his shoulders, both Tara and Dr Sukihani were comforting and calming. We knew our pup was in good hands with them. They called to check on him both the evening we got home and the next day. Would highly recommend VIVS for any surgery your pet needs!

Excellent! Dr Sukhiani and Tara went above and beyond for the care of our dog Lily who needed surgery at only 1 year old. Very kind professional people, even calling in the evening near 10:00 to see how she was doing. May 2019 first TPLO Surgery and second leg in July 2019. It has been a year now and Lily is going strong chasing her balls and swimming. Thank You so much!

Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery
Was just there helping my friend pick up her dog. They invited us in and let us have a look at the x rays from the newest surgery, plus check up x rays from the previous surgery on the other leg. It was very informative and cool to see how the bone from the previous surgery had healed around the work they had done. They were very courteous and even remembered my name as we were leaving ....which surprised me because I was only introduced briefly and I couldn't remember their names...

Our dog had the TPLO surgery and Dr. Sukiani and his whole team were incredible. They gave us such great information and were with us every step of the high. Felt very cared for and knew our pup was in very good hands.

At only a year old our Mini Australian Shepherd Boomer needed MPL surgery for his luxating patella, we were devastated. Prior to Boomer's surgery Dr. Sukiani spent a significant amount of time going over all the details of the surgery and answering our many questions and concerns. Both Dr. Sukiani and Tara were both wonderful while Boomer was in their care for his surgery in April 2022. A few months post op I've reached out to them again to ask further questions about Boomer's recovery and they've both been so helpful and happy to address my concerns. Thank you, thank you!

Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery
We were heartbroken to hear that our under 3-year-old Havanese Rizzo needed surgery for her luxating patella. Thankfully two vets both recommended Dr. Sukiani and his amazing team at the Vancouver Island Veterinary Surgery. From pre-operation consulting to the day of surgery and follow-up we have been so appreciative of the care, concern and great attention to details that Rizzo (and we) received. We highly recommend Dr. Sukiana and his team (thank you especially Tara) if your pup is in need of surgery. Thank you again team.. we are 5 weeks post surgery and Rizzo is doing so well, you'd never know she had surgery!

Incredible vet and vet tech. They treated our little guy like he was their own. They also took the time to explain everything and helped put us at ease when we were very anxious about the procedure. We are very grateful to have such a talented surgeon and team where we live!
