Day 1 of window installation is going smooth as could be expected for my wife and I. VAN ISLE's crew is working hard and faster than I expected. The process from my first contact till now has been good, and so far, our windows are looking amazing and already we have noticed a substantial noise reduction of a nearby highway. I will add more as the job is finished and we can see how the trim works out, but the hard job is almost done, and we are thrilled so far. Edit Number One: as I wait for the crew to arrive on day two: Yesterday being day one, they managed to pull out all 9 of our very old, and in some cases broken, aluminum framed windows and prep for and installed all nine new windows so we were secure, warm and cozy overnight. Today they will finish the trim on 4 of them and caulk the inside edges at the sill and inside frame. Noteworthy is that we lost very little of our original deep frame and sill on the inside of the windows, and they sit nicely on the outside, almost flush, but exactly as described when we started the process. Team was pro and polite, I would have any of them back again on the property in a heartbeat. Highly recommend these guys, including sales rep Bob to anyone looking in the market for new windows. I did full due dilligence before hiring them and of four companies that gave me quotes and descriptions, these guys were the very best value as well as all the above accolades. Beat the higher quote by 5 thousand dollars, beat the closest quote by over 2000 dollars. ; )Day two is done and everything is great looking, feeling, and sounding. The crew was great both days, the salesmen was great, and I got exactly what I think i was after. I would recommend Van Isle Windows, this Nanaimo team in particular, any day of the week. Best price, good practices, efficient installation. Time will tell if the product holds up, but that is what the generous warranty is for.

Rebekah is a fabulous person as I found out when she came to my house to give me a quote on the window replacement. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I did get quotes from two other installers but Rebekah was the only one to mention the importance of not disturbing the building envelop of the window in question.. She sold me based on her knowledge and friendliness.
