Sirius Science & Nature

Very fun store. Have bought gifts for younger family here.

We made a 4 hour return trip to go to Sirius to find the store was closed. There were no notes on the door or message on the answering machine that said they would be closed on a Monday, not that that would make it any better. Very disappointed!

One of my favorite stores growing up, when it was located in orchard park mall in Kelowna- wish they would move back or open another location!

Awesome place with unique toys and absolutely fantastic staff

We are seasonally local and have visited this store many times. However our last two experiences have left us with a bad taste. On a rainy day in June I told my 4 year old granddaughter that I would take her to Serious for the first time. We drove downtown found and paid for parking. We then found at 10:15 the store was not open even though the sign said 10 and the hours posted online were10. There were two other groups of patrons waiting and wondering what was going on. This is not an isolated issue as it had happened last year as well. If you want to insult your clients don’t show up for work on time. We will not frequent this store again. We have always tried to use local businesses especially downtown. To pay for parking disappoint my granddaughter and stand outside in the rain to no avail is simply unacceptable. It’s to bad the the other businesses may get grouped into if you go downtown you may or may not find stores open!

Awesome variety of stuff and prices are comparable to other independent toy stores. Great place to go if you want a gift for a hard-to-shop-for kid/person who likes fun stuff :)

A nerd/geek's paradise! Very helpful staff. Bought a Rubik's Cube and some raw iron magnets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable.

The “coolest store in the world” signs brought me in, and it is cool, but...that’s a bold statement.Definitely more of a toy store than a “science and nature store”, but cool nonetheless. If you’ve been to a Discovery Hut, this will feel very familiar.

Awesome store! I've been going here for at least 13 years and the owners and staff have always been wonderful friends. From yoyo's to microscopes and everything in between I'd highly suggest checking it out! Also shout out to Jessie for being a really awesome guy

One of the best stores in Penticton, 1000% would go there again!
