Ben did a curved retaining wall and stairs for us near the end of July, 2019. One thing that really impressed me was how true to his word and timeline he was. He started when he said he would start, planned ahead, gave us notice when he was coming to drop off equipment or work, and consulted/worked with us on the process and plan as things progressed. He even went above and beyond by doing a couple extra things that we needed and was respectful of the neighbours. Ben worked consistently in the summer sun all day, hardly taking a break. The work is professional, technically sound and looks great. I will surely use him again. Much thanks and respect.

Ben from Techniblock worked with our budget and original design to find a solution that worked within our allotted funds while still retaining a lot of the key features of our design. This review is for my sister in law, Suzanne who lives in Ladysmith. Once I posted the review from my phone, I realized that it was going to appear under my name. So, I am posting this additional message to clarify the situation. Suzanne dictated the review and i transcribed it, as follows.Ben was a miracle worker. I had a major problem with water flowing down a hill at the back of the house. The water was lapping the patio and I was worried about it entering the house. Ben came, evaluated the situation, and to my great joy solved the problem. He also did a beautiful landscaping job with gorgeous stone steps and a concrete stone barrier to keep the hill secure from erosion. He removed the old rotten landscaping ties and other garbage so that the yard was left in excellent condition. I could not be more happy with the work. Of all the landscaping and other workers that I have encountered over the years, Ben was the very best. I can't recommend him highly enough

We have contracted Ben from Techniblock in May /2019 to renovate our sloping back yard with removal of old wooden walls and old Junipers .It was soon apparent that Ben is an expert when it comes to excavating and getting the base for the block walls done the correct way. All the measurements were done by laser and the base compacted by way of a Heavy Duty compact machine.All the correct materials were brought in .The block walls were laid with precision and the caps were glued on to perfection.The result of the project ended up spectacular. Ben is a very confident ,well spoken , lovely person and a pleasure to have him do the job.We would recommend Ben of Tecniblock Nanaimo very highly.

Ben is simply the best! We have used his company for two large patio projects in which significant portions of our front and back yard were transformed to reclaim sloped yardage space and create great outdoor living areas. Ben replaced our front entrance steps and sidewalk and put in improved drainage in front of the garage door. He was open to our ideas and made good suggestions. The paving stones and steps look fantastic. He kept us informed along the way and when asked to expand the project a bit he said no problem. Ben did a great job and was a pleasure to deal with.
