I bought my condo in Coquitlam M3 on 1188 Pinetree Way and have been living there for the last 4 years. Smart-Tek was the company that installed our intercom system built in late 2016 almost 2017. The intercom system they implement breaks more than cheap $10 umbrellas at London Drugs. This intercom system is always broken and we often have to come down and let our guests in. Now I don't know if the strata calls Smart-Tek to come and fix it as I assume the contract is probably finished but it's irrelevant. Strata constantly has to call in contractors to come and fix the intercom system which breaks all too often. Based on my experience the intercom system was poorly designed/implemented because the building isn't that old and it has more problems than Rogers' network. This is not a strata and/or contractor issue, this is poor quality in my opinion.

When our smart tech system went down at work this company's idea of 24 hour emergency number allows you to leave a message while you wait for their office to open at 7:30 am. What a sad excuse for emergency help to paying customers. But I guess it's not a big deal if our residents have to wait outside because their key fobs don't work because our smart tech system is down. What a joke this company is.

Wynpaul, Franky and Tanner from Smart-Tek did a superb job of installing the audio visual package that came with our new condo in Kerrisdale. They also did a great job teaching us how to use the two software programmes to optimize the many features of the system and the four 4 speaker zones in the suite.
