Mike was fantastic. My family has been using his services for as long as I can remember. Work is always great, and he doesn't drive up the prices like a lot of shops try to. I would definitely recommend here for people to get their vehicles fixed

From past experiences with mechanics, I was reluctant to trust the quality of work of any tech but with Michael I never felt bamboozled especially since my car runs like a dream! Mike has obviously been around a long time and there is a reason why. He won't give up until he finds the problem. I had a rattle in my truck that nobody could find, and Mike figured it out!

I have been taking my vehicle(s) to Michael at Trymans for the past 15 years and his service has always been impeccable. I find their shop prices acceptable for the quality of work and I appreciate their willingness to always accommodate me and my work schedule. Michael will typically call ahead regarding unexpected repairs so that I can be made aware of the cost upfront and only fixes what is necessary at the time. I never feel like work is being done to the truck when it shouldn't so that's why I 100% recommend Tryman's Transmission for all of your car maintenance needs.

My 2010 Murano was leaking transmission fluid. My mechanic felt it was a seal problem. He has a long history with Mike at Tryman's, so he called Mike, described the problem to him, and advised him that I would call of an appointment. My mechanic told me to expect $1500 to $2000 for the repair.So I made my appointment with Tryman's and dropped the car off. Later in the day, Mike called and said it was just a leaking hose and that he could fix it for under $500 including tax.So, despite knowing that I was expecting a charge of up to $2000, Honest Mike" fixed the problem and did not take advantage of me. The car has been working perfectly now for a month.What more can I say. A transmission specialist for 40 years

I had Mike replace the slave cylinder and clutch assembly in my Genesis coupe. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a wholesome smile and an absolutely honest vibe. Mike has renewed my trust in mechanics. When I found my clutch had gone kaput, Mike had a handy way to help me get my car out of the underground garage. When I brought him my car he was all smiles and joyful kindness. He gave me an estimate and I spent a portion of the day doing some research and costing of parts to try to get a cheaper overall cost. Mike called throughout the day asking and assisting which I found quite nice.By the end of the day on Wednesday, I gave Mike the go-ahead and he estimated it would be ready by Friday. That was a hard pill to swallow and telling my boss I wouldn't be able to get to the office for the rest of the week was not great either but it had to be done. Surprisingly by about 4 pm on Thursday, I got a call from Mike telling me it was ready. He mentioned that he put in the extra work to get it done quickly as he saw I was pretty stressed out. I don't know if I can say enough about the experience I have had with Mike but if I ever need transmission work done again, I am going to go see Mike. Overall for the services done, the cost was reasonable. The service was quick and done right as the clutch feels great. 100% satisfied customer.

Mike was fantastic and was very hands on. His depth of experience is evident! Replaced the viscous coupling on our Subaru Legacy. High quality work, old school charm. Unequivocally recommend their services.

I received a recommendation for this location from the master mechanic at Mr. Lube on Dundas and Neyagawa.I couldn't be more pleased with the service. It was accommodating to my needs and met his estimate.As a business owner he was entirely pleasant to interact with. As an unexpected and added bonus, my car came back cleaner than it had being dropped off. I will be returning for any future services he lists under his skillsets.

I took my truck here to have the differential fixed as it was leaking fluid like crazy. There was no need for any diagnoses, it was clearly an issue with the differential but for some reason they felt the need to DRIVE the truck with no fluid in the differential to see what the problem was.....I WAS SHOCKED when I found this out because the truck should NOT have be driven with the state that it was in. ANYONE and their sister would know this but since they want to charge a $200 diagnostic fee I guess they felt the NEED to drive the truck. After he drove my truck and probably did further damage to the rear differential I had it towed it another mechanic who DID NOT charge a diagnostic fee, opened the diff up to see a shot bearing and GEARS...they fixed the truck. This was my second time having a bad experience here, I have no idea why I went back..Save yourself some money and time and AVOID this place.
