Average HK cafe style food with very large menu selection. Prices are slightly higher compared to other similar restaurants, but Phoenix is a larger franchise. Worth a visit if you're in the area

I simply cannot resist baked cheese rice and paired with smoked duck I knew this was what I wanted to try as it is not something I usually see on a Hong Kong cafe menu. The duck breast was really tender and I loved the smoky flavour. It also comes with your choice of Hot Hong Kong Milk Tea or Lemon Tea.Their lemon tea was not as sweet so I think that’s why there’s a lot of older customer here, their milk tea doesn’t come with added sugar so you can adjust how you like it. I also got the pork cutlet sandwich and although the cutlet was super juicy I wasn’t a big fan of the buns. They also have kids meal which is great.

Pheonix have been in Toronto for many years. Very consistant in quality and taste is good. Not cheap for these HK style cafeteria food. They have 3 outlets in Toronto. Recommended

Such a simple yet welcoming hong-kong style restaurant. Friendly staff makes you feel at home. They offer a variety of HK dishes and beverages at a reasonable price.

The vanilla ice cream bubble waffle is sooooo good. The curry chicken is superb, great flavour and the potatoes that come along are very soft. Chicken wings are just ok. The satay beef noodle soup is not good and doesn’t feel the satay flavour.

Satay beef vermicelli was very good. Lots of satay taste, and beef was tender. HK style milk tea was excellent. Lots of black tea taste.Thick cut of HK toast with condensed milk tasted great.Small restaurant compared to other Phoenix locations, so expect a wait time of 10-20 min during the weekend morning.

We chose this place for dinner today because we wanted a warm bowl of noodle soup on a winter day.One for each person, each serving is large.Yesterday afternoon have a cup of coffee mede me going to bed at 3:00 am. Today, I don't dare to order any tea or coffee.But hot lemonade feels strange, like a bowl of hot water in the Western culture.Service is difficult to say, the boss is very enthusiastic, but the waitress are unhappy face.It's still very good.

The braised chicken with tomato sauce is stellar. However, the satay beef with vermicelli was a let down.Definitely get the extra cold/hot drink with your meal.
