The best halibut fish and chips I have had in decades. I would highly recommend this restaurant craving a filling meal and memories of old :)

Food was pretty good. The New England clam chowder was very good but I’ve had better fish and chips. The batter was a bit too crunchy and the fries weren’t the greatest. The tartar sauce was pretty good. Nice decor but can be very loud due to the small space.

Discovered this place because of the high ratings. Everything was perfectly fried. The tartar sauce is the best I’ve ever had anywhere - I was actually eating it by itself!

My favourite Fish & Chips place to go to whenever I’m in Steveston Village.I always order the 2 piece halibut & chips. The batter on the fish is always thin, crispy, never oily and the fish itself is fresh and meaty. The fries? It’s delicious and cooked to perfection every time.The meal portion size is big and the service is great. It’s always busy whenever I go!

We all had 1-piece fish and chips and one of us had cup of chowder. The fish was fresh, flaky, and tasted excellent. The batter was not oily, but was nicely thin and crispy. The chowder was a little under cooked at that time as the potatoes were a little raw. The flavor and consistency was good. With more cook time it likely is excellent. Atmosphere was bright and welcoming with lots of windows to see outside activity in town. Service was also good and welcoming.

Our waiter was friendly and gave us good service. There were 3 of us having fish & chips for lunch but because some of the fish pieces might have been a bit smaller, they brought a separate plate with an extra piece of fish for us. Pretty thoughtful and generous of them to do that!

Loved our food, and the attentive staff!We had a big group of work people, and made a complex request with the bills which was absolutely no issue for the waitress. Would highly recommend their food and their service!

Had lunch here on a family vacation. We had the cod and halibut and chips. Food was excellent. Only two knocks- it took a while to get our meals though it wasn't extremely busy, and the back patio where we ate could be set up better to be more inviting.Overall we would still go back and also recommend eating here!

Great little spot. Unfortunately, the meal wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, seeing it is right near the docks and where the fishing is plentiful! The fish was great! 4 stars for sure. The fries were a 2.5, not so great. Needed salt and they didn't seem deep fried? I don't know. They didn't have that crispy, freshness to them.I had the oysters and they were pretty tasty, I'd give them a 3.5 but WARNING: they are extremely HOT! They are sealed in the batter, and there is SCALDING water trapped inside and it burned my lip! Wow! Just be aware.

Very friendly customer service <3Fish and chips was very fresh and crunch !!It’s more likely local vibe than other place which I loved the most.Highly recommend this place :)
