This is one of my favorite convenience stores in the south end or uptown area's of Saint John NB, They always have a great variety of products and services to choose from and the shelves are always stocked. They have a really good display of their products are the layout of the store is very well organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They're prices on everything is more than fair and they definitely deserve a 5 star rating. Great job guys! Highly recommend!!!!

This is by far one of the best convenience stores you can visit in NB. The people that run this establishment, combined with the amazing prices(most items cheaper than grocery stores, some items almost match chain grocery sale prices), make it worth the stop. The other people leaving one star reviews here clearly have ill-will towards the business, as I've never seen an expired item in the store. Keep up the amazing work guys!

George’s store is a lot better and a lot cheaper. Their sandwiches are only $1.25 at George’s store and also the ice cream sandwiches are double the price at sams variety as they are at Sunray variety

Convenient location for this convenience store (pardon the pun) serving the surrounding neighborhood on the peninsula. Decent hours and friendly staff. Store is always stocked well and the prices are quite fair for a small independent convenience store.

Sam's Variety has to be the best convenience store in the uptown core. I've moved further away from this store but still make the extra 10 minute walk to shop here, even with there being a store 2 minutes from me. Staff is fantastic, selection is awesome and you cant be the price of their products. Hell, sometimes they have items cheaper than the grocery stores. The owner and his family are crazy friendly and know all their customers, as do the other employees. I cant give this place enough praise!

The staff are always friendly, they've always got a decent selection of products, I've even had an employee offer to order in a product for me. Probably the best convenience store I've been to inside N.B
