Bath Depot Kingston

Very dissapointed in absolute lack of customer service.Firstly, this is the third bathroom renovation on our house that we're using Bath Depot for. Angie had helped with all 3 purchases and she is absolutely fantastic and patient.However, this order has been so disappointing and stressful. We picked out everything, and had to pick it all based on the time lines for shipping. We picked out furniture, heated towel rack, mirror, 2 linen cabinets, bathtub and shower column, plus all of the faucets. Everything was picked with items to be in stock for the shipment dates.The first thing that was frustrating was that the shower column was put to back order and delivery date pushed for months. The renovations, pipes etc are all designed based on this. We had to spend days researching for a new column to match the specifications. We were told about this under 2 weeks to delivery. Frustrating, but we got our refund and repurchased elsewhere. At this point we confirmed still that everything was coming the following week and told yes. When the delivery came (which we had to take time off to receive) it was only half there. At NO point did the store manager call and inform us that not everything was being delivered. We had to call, find out it wasn't, and was told that it happens all the time. When asking Rachel(store manager) about why we weren't informed our delivery wasn't all at once, she just said they don't keep track. So they found out that the shower piece wasn't coming and they called, but when HALF our delivery wasn't coming she didn't. Communication is everything to customers. Not once were we informed by HQ, the store, or anyone along the way that not all items are shipped or coming in. When asked about their policies in place for this, it was ignored. When asked to be contacted by customer service or their district manager, it's also been ignored. They have refused to reach out, give an explanation, apologize or anything about our delivery being split up. This is now 2 days off needed to be taken to deal with this. Our second delivery came and luckily had everything with it, however with 2 weeks past my initial call in, still NO ONE has reached out about our concerns.I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication by the store manager, lack of professionalism she showed towards us with our order and over all just frustration with customer service never replying and the district manager not reaching out.As someone that's been a retail manager for many years, its extremely disaappinting snd frustrating to be treated like my business doesn't matter.

Terrible customer service. Instructions measurements were wrong. They refused to take the item back bc past return period... Never buy there!This was an online order btw, so not specific to this location.@Bath Depot: thx for your reply. This was the order number: 1165518

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shopping at Bath Depot in Kingston. I went there to look at fixtures for our third floor renovation, without much expectation beyond finding a toilet I liked. I couldn't have been more surprised! I was greeted by Shawn who, it turned out was not only extremely attentive and knowledgeable without being at all pushy, he was a wealth of information. What I assumed was going to be a very quick look around soon turned into an engaging shopping expedition. I was very impressed not only with Shawn but also with the quality of products Bath Depot carries. When we returned to the front desk, his co-worker Angie proved to be equally wonderful to deal with. She helped us navigate a whole system for the large curbless walk in shower I have designed that needed to be customized. Both of them worked together so amicably and were so well versed in their products I have made the decision that this store will be where I will be bringing all my clients in the future as well as where I will be purchasing the rest of the fixtures needed for my own renovation. I highly recommend a trip to this particular store!

These people are great very helpful, listen to what you want offer suggestions also recommend other businesses if they are not able to fully provide a product that may require custom made. I have used them when we designed a new basement bathroom and now renovating an upstairs one!

Renovating our washroom and had a great experience shopping for everything. Julie Wade helped us choose items that we liked and that were part of the Black Friday sales. We received a price breakdown so that we could think about it and appreciated that a couple of days later Julie emailed me informing that the sale prices were only good for a couple of more days. Bath Depot was flexible with delivery dates that would work for us. Looking forward to our new washroom.

Really positive experience here! We walked in, they were able to point us in the right direction, let us look, answer our questions, and let us leave without feeling pressured to buy right then. They even sent us home with a printout quote, dimensions, product codes etc. Ended up going back in a couple days later to purchase, and our order was in less than one week later!!

We found exactly the sink we were looking for at a super price point. Excellent service from the staff, especially Angie. Great communication about shipping timeframes.....kept us well informed about delivery. Highly recommend Bath Depot Kingston.

Things are not made for ever and the simplest wear and tare can create issues with disappointments. Twice we had to get some small parts and the staff is always very helpful. Their customer’s service is outstanding and they are always so proactive and very nice to deal with. Their prices are very competitive as well. Such a great experience! Thank you! Alain and Antonin

Buyer beware. We purchased a number of fixtures for our bathroom reno. We were led to believe they were Canadian made, but found out later this was not true. Worst of all two of the items had extensive damage; the vanity came apart shortly after it had been installed by the contractor. Bath Depot's short warranty period and policy of having customers unpack and inspect items speaks to their own lack of confidence in the quality of their products. It is almost impossible to order items and have the timing correspond to the timelines of one's contractor. Why should orders have to be unpacked so quickly? Anyway, don't expect this company to resolve these issues in a reasonable manner, because they won't. Once they have your money, you are stuck with their damaged goods. It is worth the drive to Ottawa, or the GTA to find a reputable bath store instead. Lesson learned.
