We've had both our sons with WCHC and each time were very blessed by the women who served as our midwives. They were very knowledgeable, compassionate and empowering. Having gone through both my pregnancies with a mid-wife, I honestly would never choose differently. There are a lot of things you just don't know that you don't know leading up to giving birth. And while your body is made to bring forth life, the journey to welcoming your precious infant can be vastly improved by feeling supported by woman who truly do have you and your best interest at heart.

I had the most wonderful experience with WCHC! Meagan was with me every step of the way prior to birth but the most impactful was the support and service provided after. I have and will continue to always encourage women to use midwives, WCHC in particular. She had the best advice and support and made those important days and weeks post birth all about bonding as a new family. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

As first time parents, my husband and I loved our experience with Alescia and the team at WCHC! Alescia was very warm, supportive, and always willing to answer all my questions and point me to additional resources if needed. Appointments never felt rushed whatsoever which I really appreciated as a first time mom. Alescia, along with Meghan & Irini (student midwife) supported my home birth and although many things came up unexpectedly, I trusted their knowledge and they pivoted with ease each step of the way.The postpartum home visits were amazing and my favorite part of care! Alescia & Irini would come right up to our bedroom and were such a calming and reassuring presence during those first few weeks. I felt so confident with the care I received at WCHC for a home birth as a first time mom. Would highly recommend!

I would recommend WCHC a million times over. Everyone there is very warm and welcoming. They are extremely knowledgeable, not only with any questions, but with also with were to find resources so you can make your own informed choices. They are very easy to get in contact with and don't rush appointments. They tale their time getting to know and and your birthing desires. I was so Fortunate to be assisted my Meghan for my home birth. She was a great couch and support. Alescia did all of my prenatal and post natal care, including helping me with breastfeeding issues. I am so thankful I had both of them to make this pregnancy and borth all I had dreamed.

We felt totally comfortable asking her any questions and felt empowered as she respected all of our decisions. We knew that our baby was on the bigger side, and that did not waiver her support for our decision to have a homebirth. I felt deeply that she trusted me, and I completely trusted her.Our baby was born at home, 10lbs 3oz, and it was awesome! We had our incredible WCHC team, led by Meghan and with midwife Alescia as a secondhand - she was also so supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging!The postpartum care was amazing, Meghan was never rushed when she came over and we felt like she really became a part of the family. We are so grateful that we got to work with her and feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful birth experience - as it should be! Can’t recommend enough :)

The support and care you will find at West Coast Health Collective are unparalleled. From friendly reception to careful, competent care throughout the pregnancy and the newborn period; you will find only the best.A larger concern others had when I mentioned I was going with a midwife is the safety. Frankly I'm willing to argue that the care I had under West Coast was safer than anything else available: not only are they thorough and detail orientated, they are not hesitant to consult and advocate as necessary.

Our midwife (Megan Radebe) was respectful and awesome. We trusted her clinical judgement. She was full of information and always made us feel comfortable to be able to ask any questions. We would definitely recommend her and the use of a midwives to anyone. If we were to have a second child we will definitely ask for her again.There office staff were friendly & inviting. They always remember us and we weren't just treated like we were a name on a schedule. If felt like the feeling you get when in a small town everyone knows you (or like cheers.... everyone know your name...lol).

Had them for my pregnancy from June 2021 to February 2022The whole team was amazing! Calm phone support during labour and amazing postpartum support. Prenatally was alright the only thing that I wish was improved (don't know if has already) was the communication between the midwives. I would email the general midwife email and I would get a response but it would seem like my main midwife hadn't heard anything about the issue.

I have had two of my babies with West Coast Health Collective and am so happy that I chose their midwifery group. Alescia and Meghan are amazing midwives and I love them so much. I felt so safe, supported and very well taken care of during the home birth of our baby. The people you chose to support you during pregnancy, birth and postpartum are so important, and because of them my husband, kids and I were able to have such a positive experience.

I was fortunate to experience WCHC pregnancy and postpartum care twice. It is a warm, inviting place to be and the level of care is fantastic. I felt supported in each decision I made along the way. In my most recent pregnancy and birth, I had the pleasure of having Alescia as my midwife and also saw Meghan and Kirsten briefly - all were amazing and so helpful. Although I won’t be getting pregnant again, I know I’ll remain a part of the WCHC community - a wonderful perk I did not expect!
