CIBC Branch with ATM

Good people but lack either experience or they are over worked. I will not return. 3 months waiting for a mortgage and still had no answer. Call backs are fruitless and many mistakes that cost me lots of money. They do not care that their mistake cost me thousands of dollars. I'm ashamed that they hold no responsibility for their inactions/mistakes. Bye bye Cibc

I had to change branches to this one because mine closed down. I don't feel safe putting my money in this bank, I have had so many fraud attempts. Every time I go there, it doesn't matter what time, there are only ever 2 tellers working. There is always a line up and it moves very slowly. It was so bad today that I just left after standing in line for 25 minutes. Many seniors bank there and clearly would rather speak with a teller than use the atm....making lines and wait times even longer. They need more staff working behind the counter. Do not recommend this branch!

I went into this bank and I felt so discriminated against. They refuse to issue me a new card and I had to call the head office so they would change it for me even though I showed ID and answered security questions. They are vain and use the black worker as cover so people don't think they are racist. All I have to say to this location, is the Lord is not mocked, what you sow is what you shall reap. Judge not or you will be judged, for what measure you judge shall be judged against you before my Father in heaven. I warn all those of color do not support this financial institution's location.

As part of our move from the US, we had to open Canadian bank accounts and wire some money across the border. At the direction of CIBC's customer service, we walked in to this location to do so -- but we definitely should have made an appointment. Nevertheless, Patti Jolliffe made time to take care of us despite being busy. She waived our account and wire fees, and offered to waive check fees when we order them. A couple weeks later, she spoke with us via phone about some cross-border financial planning. She was forthright about what she knew and didn't know, and offered to put us in touch with someone knowledgeable on the finer points. I feel like we picked a good bank and have had great customer service so far!

Worst bank hands down. They had me thinking Td was bad. Even though they were bad CIBC by far is way worst!! Never bank with these monsters. Special thanks to people like Patty who made many false claims and statements. You've messed with a young couple with young children. You should be ashamed!!!!

The most pointless bank to ever be a part of. I’ve had nothing but problems with this institution since the day I opened an account with them. They have held western union money orders for 5 days (9 days in actuality) and yes these were normal business days. I’ve tried to use a bank statement to renew my health card as that is a form of document service Ontario accepts as proof of address but they don’t print out statements with an address on them. Which means a bank statement is pretty much pointless. I’m in the process of switching banks. I don’t advise anyone to use this bank as they take service charges from you but don’t really do anything in return that is beneficial to you as a customer. I don’t know if all cibc is like this but I don’t recommend doing business with them. Horrible bank!

Great staff. Courteous. Took me longer to park my car. Walked in...no line. Paid my bill.This bank is better than the one on Westside (*no line).

Horrible customer service and customer support, this branch never returns calls, left 3 messages, went into bank twice because no one returned my call, made me waste my time and gas, I'm moving to my husband's bank because of the way I was treated here, and disregarded, been a long time customer, Patty is who i dealt with and i think she needs to retire or treat customers better, very unprofessional, bye, bye CIBC!

Parking is a challenge due to people going to other locations parking there. I've had good service when I went in and wait times were short. I AM disappointed by my call back experiences. By end of business day is a joke. It's been 4 business days since I called and I'm still waiting. Not the first time either.

Patty Jolliffe is the best financial services advisor I've ever dealt with. Informative, kind, professional every time. I make it a point to book an appointment with this branch for my financial needs.
