Slow Pour Beer Bar
Really lovely little spot with lots of beers (duh) but also some wine and food options (did not try the food yet so can't comment). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The candles on the tables and dim lighting gives a romantic vibe. I like the location - off the main drag of 124 but still close enough to Unity Square so you could likely hit a couple breweries and Slow Pour if you were so inclined! I hope they add outdoor seating in warmer months.

New favourite!!! What an amazing space - cozy yet modern, perfect vibes, exceptional beer selection with local and European brews that you'd be challenged to find elsewhere in the city. This spot is just the watering hole the neighbourhood, and Edmonton needed!!

Wonderful be selection and great service. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing, great lighting. Light snacks are fresh and well done ... Better than most craft beer joint places that don't have a full menu. Will be back!

I’ve waited for a pure and proper beer bar to arrive in Edmonton. Visited here after a friends recommendation and Slow Pour really lived up to the hype. Mature room, great ambience, no nonsense menu. The ham whipped butter croissant was absolutely amazing! Really hoping they add a German pretzel as it would really pair well with some of their beer options.Looking forward to future visits and to see this business flourish. Full marks!

Stopped by for a quick lunch and a drink. Great atmosphere and selection of beer. Many many local breweries products available, which was great to see.We had the BLT and Jambon croissant, both were great!

This place is an incredible gem! The steak tartare is one of the best in the City and the wine and beer selection is fantastic! Will be coming back often.

Slow Pour is one of the only bars in the city that you can get such a wide selection of import beer. They have a wonderful, cozy atmosphere - especially at night with their candle lit tables.Slow Pour has a small selection of snacky European bar food - something I have yet to try but their tartare has me interested!I'd like to give 4 stars for this review but since it's a new business and they're learning, I'll keep it at 5.Some feedback - if you're offering high end Lambics, please do educate your staff on Lambics and how to serve them. Providing baskets would also help the experience. We ordered a 3 Fonteinen geuze and it was incorrectly poured, leaving us with glasses full of sediment. Dissapointing, especially when paying for a $30 bottle.Overall, I'd highly recommend checking out Slow Pour!

This is a slice of well-refined European beer cafe mixed with a cozy design-friends living room.Slow Pour is owned a local couple who are some of the biggest enthusiasts of beer & food culture.Their beer list is always changing, with a mix of local beer, one-off kegs from Europe & USA, plus some special Slow Pour collaborations with some top notch Alberta brands. In addition, there are always a couple of cocktails (some iteration of a Negroni, hell yea!) Plus a natural wine or two, and Proxies for the sober or sober-curious.And with only 1000sq ft to work with, there is a small, very thoughtful & beautifully executed food menu. The Jambon-Beurre (butter ham) sandwich is near perfect. Serving it on a croissant instead of a baguette will stray you from tradition. But the light airiness of a flaky croissant matches exceptionally well with thin, sliced ham & a house made whipped butter. I could eat one everyday but for athletic reasons I'll try to limit my intake to one per week. Finally, for my vibes check, what my most watering holes lack is sound & light. Most bars/breweries are too loud, or too quiet, with nauseating white florescent lights. Slow Pour ticks all of the boxes with softer dimmed lighting, between an all-star cast of interesting fixtures, lamps, & tall candles. And the music playlist is eclectic in the best way possible.Check this place out & then become a regular like I already plan to. And introduce your friend to gain well deserved in the know" points. Great beer selection, very curated with quality beers, including beers that you don't often see on tap. Will definitely be frequenting this place.

Slow Pour Beer Bar
The beer here was amazing - but the food was a bit less to be desired. We had both cheese plates and they felt like something that could have come from a deli. However! This place is new, and in today's market it can take time to fumble into success. The location is great and I see potential for Slow Pour to become a great community beer spot. The venue is small and intimate and would lend nice to a first date drink before heading to dinner on 124 Ave. Lots of local brews, staff had great recommendations.
