Horrible experience. I have purchased a jeep Compass from Gary and it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Gary was quite friendly during the sale, so we thought nothing of the jeep having a check engine light on. After the purchase is when the nightmare started happening. The jeep had constant serious safety issues that were nowhere mentioned during the sale. We took it to the repair shops multiple times only to find out it was electrical issues. The warranty bought didn't cover a single cent, leaving us with thousands of dollars out of pocket and without a working car. When we approached Gary with this issue, he started showing his true self. He was insulting, very angry and basically shouting at us, and quite scary to be brutally honest.After coming back again, we see Gary shouting at another customer, calling him stupid etc.The multiple repair shops all mentioned not to put another dollar into it, and to basically scrap it.I honestly can't believe how many positive reviews this place has...I hope this honest review helps anyone looking for a used car. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemies.

Horrible experience with a newly purchased car I bought less than a year ago. It's been repaired several times already and now needs a new radiator, new brakes, new fuel injector, and the list goes on. Gary seems honest and friendly in the beginning but he's not. In reality he makes the car run well for a short time until your 3 month warranty expires and the vehicle falls apart, Please do not shop here!!!

Can't say enough about the great customer service from Gary. Gave me a fair price on my trade in. Knowledgable, no pressure sales. I had an issue with my passenger airbag censor snd Gary was frue to his word and paid for it to get analyzed by Madza and for Glen (fanatic mechanic) from auto extreme to come to my house and replace the seat.

Gary was tremendously helpful , in setting us up with a new/ used minivan . He quickly realized that we were also trying to help a family from Ukraine and he jumped right in to help . The transaction got easier and the price got lower . We are very happy so far with our new purchase and 2 weeks later Gary was able to track down the second key from the previous owner and he mailed it to us . Gary went above and beyond to help us . From the time I decided to check out the vehicles at Williams Auto Sales to the completion of our purchase of a 2013 Buick which suited us, Gary made it stress free and a pleasant experience. Gary was very informative and knowledgeable about getting extended warranty. Had a very pleasant time dealing with Gary when I decided I wanted to buy a used Jetta from the lot. He was very kind and patient with my partner and I, gave us a fair price, and wasn’t at all pushy or in your face like other car salespeople. Not many good used car lots on the South Island but Williams auto is definitely one of them! Would recommend!!
