Central Montessori School, Thornhill Campus

I have sent both of my children to CMS Thornhill and it has been one of the best decisions I have made! My older child is currently flourishing in elementary school and my younger child (Kyle - toddler) has been developing so much in recent months. Ms. Angie and Ms. Shirley have been doing an excellent job with Kyle and he absolutely adores them (never any crying when he gets dropped off at school). It is obvious that the teachers at CMS really care about the children and have a real passion for teaching. 5 stars!

My kids had amazing times at CMS Thornhill campus with staff and teachers. Everyone was very caring and putting best efforts to provide warm and nurturing environment to children.

My son attended CMS Thornhill school since the summer before junior CASA grade and graduated from grade 3 in 2021. The staff at CMS Thornhill are exceptional; from teachers to office staff to management and support staff. My son loved his experience there and was always advance in school subjects. The quality of education was amazing. The school trips that I also joined in were fun and memorable. We even credit the play and memorized lines from his class to helping him get into his current private school. At his interview, he jumped into character and recited his lines with passion and confidence! Currently in grade 4, he is doing very well in all subjects but exceeding in math, language arts and social studies. I really credit CMS Thornhill for teaching him well and giving him the foundation for success. I highly recommend CMS Thornhill.

We had great experience with CMS Thornhill campus for the past year. My LO started with the infant room where Ms. Angie is such a loving and understanding person. My little one had great time in her class. When COVID started, the school provided an easy transition to the virtual class where my LO can continue learning and interacting with his classmates via zoom. Also, the school management is committed to provide a safe, fun and caring environment. We are very thankful to Ms Lucy and her team as they really care about the children and work with parents.

Both my boys attended this school. Teachers are phenomenal, especially Ms. MacPhearson and the administrator Niousha. I recommend this school to anyone looking for great education while under the care and supervision of a caring staff. I believe the school would be perfect if it wasn't for the politics of those running the CMS schools behind the scenes but that is everywhere and unlikely you will escape.

I am very pleased with this school. The teachers are caring.My son was 3 years old and he didn't speak. He started talking after he went to school.

My child loves attending school here, the teachers are all caring and the curriculum is fulfilling, even at this young age. Absolutely thrilled we chose this school over others in the area. All the teachers know every one of the children by name. It’s a great friendly environment for all.

My wife and I are very pleased with CMS Thornhill. The teachers, admin team, Vice Principal and other staff (cleaning, etc.) are all so kind and always greet you with a nice smile.What I found with the CMS staff is that they will do all they can to accommodate your child. Every child is different and every child has different needs, and I feel that this school understands this.Also, the proverb, it takes a village to raise a child" is so true at CMS. I feel like the staff as a whole do all they can to meet your child where they are
