Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve
Not sure why I hadn't heard of this spot before, but it's great. Very well marked and maintained trails. A good length for a trail and not a difficult hike at all - moderately hilly here and there. Lots of very friendly chickadees and nuthatches.

Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve
You may not want to make a day trip from Toronto for the Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve but if you’re a nature love or simply need a break from urban life and happen to be in the area, the Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve is quite nice. There are many interesting info panels posted throughout the area. There are also three separate trails you can take that will bring you through different natural environments. Each of the trails is between 1 to 2 km long, so unless you plan on doing all 3, not much time is needed.

Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve
Nice little hiking area. 3 trails in this park, one Is closed due to flooding. Trails are nicely marked and parking is free. Park has a mix of forests and open grass lands. A lot of different trees and flowers. Park entrance board could be bigger, so newcomers won't miss it.

A nice nature reserve area at the crossing of King City and East Gwiliambury and close to Newmarket. In the warm weather, one can see a lot of birds in the nature reserve.

Great walk for everyone with stroller friendly trails as well as easy hikes that aren't stroller friendly. They have updated this park quite a bit, and it's always a great place to spend some time.

Cawthra Mulock Nature Reserve
Beautiful hiking area, really quiet, absolutely love it there! Other people on the trails are really friendly, but you may encounter some off leash dogs. The terrain can be muddy and slippery, so wear proper footwear. Lovely benches with a wonderful view and a great location for picnics.
