Kent Building Supplies - Contractor Supply

This store isn't as large as the other Kent stores in the area. One advantage is that it seems to be less crowded while still having many core building supply items in stock. I've also found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. I do like that I can now drive through the lumberyard myself and pick through the pieces.

had some decent help from a staff person, but still got better help from a friend and had to go back for some extra things. Wasted time and a purchase at a entirely different store based on the original staff advice

Staff are willing to help you and they have products other stores are missing.

I have been to Kent's Building Supplies many times over the years and I have almost always been able to find what I was looking for. It is pretty much my default place to go. And this was ny first time as the Contractor location since it was built. Great space with nearly everything we were looking for and a great selection of products in the two major areas that I was looking into. I will be back again since I believe this place has a better selection than the store on Stavanger Drive.

I shop there a lot it's hard to get good staff whatever you are at if I need anything for work I go there

It seems that people still don't know that Kent Contractor supply is open to everyone, not just contractors. This location has a great selection of building materials. It even has a bigger selection of some items like windows. However it doesn't have all the pretty displays found in the retail stores. If you are in the Kelsey drive area, this is a convenient alternative to HD.

This was my 1st visit to the Kent Contractors store as I only recently became aware of the fact it was open to the public.The store is very similar to all the other Kent stores except less products ie home products not directly linked to renovation or construction. That aside for those doing renovation they offer construction supplies in large volume packages.I was looking for a new door handle for my front door which I wanted to match with a smart deadbolt. The store had a full aisle of door sets but primarily limited to Wieser products which is a brand I have had issues with before.While I didn't find what I was looking for I will return to this store for many other products.For people who want check prices and suppliers it's great now that you can hit Kent, Home Depot and Canadian Tire all on Kelsey drive.

I love shopping local and I love hardware stores so it’s too bad about this place. I’ve been 3 times. Last time I didn’t want to go back because of the previous weird vibes but it was the only place with the tools I needed in stock.Don’t go here if you’re not a contractor I guess? Other than the girl at the cash I felt so unwelcome. SO many people working, no one came to help me, tho it felt like the dudes behind the contractor counter watched me the whole time. Did they think I was going to steal? Very uncomfortable way to shop.Needed to get some gravel from the outdoor part as I was leaving. Some signage would be really helpful. Are we allowed to drive in? Do we pay outside or inside? Maybe acknowledge that we don’t all have the same info as the staff?My feeling each time I visited was that I was intruding in the contractor bro zone and I should already know every thing.Too bad. I won’t be back.I do go to the Kent on Stavanger all the time and it’s got less stuff but way better staff.

Very clean store.helpful staff. Wanted sale items were not available.

Found absolutely nothing we went their for,which was disappointing because we had heard from a friend that that they carried everything,plus no staff,couldn't find anyone to inquire about what we were looking for after 10 minutes of 15 minutes of wandering and still no one approached us,we left. Won't be returning!!
