I went to this Vet hospital for almost a year now. I love the Assistants they are all welcoming and they are very sweet/nice. but this Veterinarian (small, petite woman) is very cold she doesnt seem to like her job no passion and force you to take the other vaccines. she doesnt even smile or greet my dog she only check their vitals signs and vaccinate them and that's it. it's very different from the other veterinarian....

Took my gecko here for impaction, they were very caring when looking after him. Procedures were done within a decent time period, and caring staff. Loved the vet I got for him, and gave me lots of information on how to treat him, and take care of his condition. Very glad i took him here, they are wonderful.

I’ve dealt with multiple vets here and they have all been very professional and caring with my rats. When my rats had to be put down, they were very consoling and even signed a personalized condolences card

Welcoming staff and very friendly. We take our Loki here for his check ups, he is usually happy to come here. The prices are also fair, not bananas like some downtown vet hospitals. You do need to take and appointment as they are mostly booked up.

We took our ferret to Amherst when she had swallowed something and was having issues with bowel movement. Dr. Monaco and Victoria both seemed quite patient with our furry baby (who can at times get anxious around new people). What I liked the most is that Victoria sent us a follow up email to check on our ferret’s health after the visit.

I took my tiny 11 yr old turtle there for an emergency treatment for prolapse. The staff were very friendly, and the veterinarian competent and compassionate. After the surgery, I was demonstrated intramuscular and intraperitoneal injections that I were to perform at home for a few weeks. They explained everything clearly and charged a reasonable fee. I'm very grateful for their help. My turtle had a quick recovery, and is still alive today, 3.5 years later. The story would have ended differently if not for the angels at Amherst Veterinary Hospital.

Great place to bring your reptiles in for a check up. Staff are really caring and nice. We brought our Beardie Toothless here a few times for a check up. At our last visit, we had to put her down due to tumors found in her lungs. A week later, we found a card in the mail signed by the staff at the hospital. It's a simple and very sweet way of showing that they care. Our family deeply appreciated this kind gesture.

Amazing and sweet staff. I have been bringing my kitten here since we got her in March. Each appointment has been covid appropriate, very attentive, and each question big and small has been clearly answered. For a new pet owner, this is where I want to go.
