Costco Vision Center

New to town and had great service. She referred me for eye surgery with a specialist. She checks on my wifes eyeproblems every few months. No complaints here

Had husband with me and wanted to pick out new glasses. Eye appt was scheduled with costco for 3 days later. They wouldnt even let me look at glasses until I had a prescription in hand. I explained that my husband was leaving for work and I wanted his opinion on the glasses but nope! You cant look. Theres better eyeglass stores in Sudbury!

go anywhere else honestly.

Had the displeasure of experiencing this facet of Costco. First off I want to address the actual optometrist, and the receptionist/assistant within the clinic. They were exemplary, and amazingly friendly, and professional. Their timings were perfect in keeping with my appointment, and I truly enjoyed this aspect. Except the remove outer footwear, I had sandals on, not pleasant at all to walk around in bare feet.Now to the attendants at the counter outside where you purchase glasses afterwards. These people should be retrained, immediately. When I first showed up there, some guy from a different department is sitting sweating and chatting, had to wait for that to finish. Then shuffled into my appointment. After the appointment when you go to get glasses, was the big downhill tumble. Went back to the till to talk to the attendant that showed me where the clinic was, the chatter from earlier. Ignored me for a few minutes at first, then when I told her I needed glasses she waited until someone was done something instead of helping, absolute waste of counter space she is taking up I must say.Now onto the trash employee she sent me to to get help. This was the absolute downfall of the entire thing. She asks what I need, I tell her this is my first pair of glasses and I actually have zero idea, she just says well there are progressives, and bifocals, or you can just get reading glasses, what do you want. I told her I know nothing of this world, to please explain it to me. You would have thought I asked her to recite Macbeth, the exasperated look that blew across her mug was an instant trigger. Told her I would go elsewhere. I am a Navy Veteran, and I will tell you, if I ever looked at someone the way this lack of service employee looked at me, I would be charged instantly. I will never utilize this service" again at Costco. Felt like I was putting these employees out of their way just to get something I have no idea about explained to me. Absolute trash way to treat people
