Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Kitchener - Country Hills

The team at this Kumon center headed by Mrs Pradnya Patange is amazing, judging by how fast my son transformed from having difficulties with letters and numbers to reading and counting as well as other math skills such as addition and subtraction. I was skeptical at first but within a few weeks I realized Kumon is the right choice. Thank you Mrs Patange for being so kind, professional, and for leading such a great team.

Best investment that you can peruse for your children. Don’t fall for cheaper alternatives off web only trainings, as you never know/judge their repute. Huge improvement in Maths/ English as the curriculum matches closely to school board syllabus and parents expectation. This centre particularly was good because a)closest to house b)heard word of mouth reviews as highly recommended c)quite impressed with their standings and pedigree during initial orientation.

My daughter has been doing Kumon Math for the past 5 years and many times she has requested to discontinue the course. However her instructor Pradnya has been encouraging and motivating her to continue and not give up. I am glad we listened, because today my daughter is able to be best in Math in grade 9, enabling her to solve very complex and challenging problems with ease. She has received so much appreciation from her teacher and classmates about her proficiency in Math concepts. She feels very confident today and understands that Kumon has helped her. Thanks to Kumon and our instructor Pradnya.

Actually, I have four of my five children registered at this location. Pradnya, the owner, was the woman who helped my kids succeed in both English and Math, surpassing their teachers' expectations. This woman shows such dedication and passion for what she is doing! Give your children a change by enrolling them into this program! It is a lot of work for the kids to have to put in, but I assure you that all this work will pay off!

The Kumon curriculum is fantastic. My son entered Grade 1 very behind in reading due to challenges he encountered in Kindergarten, and then the school closure. We started the Kumon curriculum with another location in December 2020 and were pleased with the progress he made, however were not thrilled with the instructor from the other centre. After a few situations, and 5 months of trying the other centre, we switched to the Williamsburg Kumon centre and couldn't be happier. Pradnya has a very good system, is available when she says she will be available, and has staff working in small groups (even online) at the level they are working on. The connections that have been made within a month are amazing and my son looks forward to doing his work with the instructors at this centre. We look forward to the day when we can participate in in-person kumon sessions with an instructor and can benefit from the calm, consistent and caring approach that Pradnya and her staff provide.

I do not recommend this centre. If I could give less than one star, I would. My children attended this Kumon for months. When I noticed that they were getting the same books each month I asked Pradnya Patange (the owner) why this was happening; she said it was because they had made mistakes. I took the books back to her to show her that she had marked it and there were no mistakes in some and one mistake in some of the repeated books. She later started to cut their books in half, giving them five pages instead of the ten that are supposed to be given. I decided to take them out of the program. I should of learned my lesson, but unfortunately today I decided to try again. We had an appointment and she did not even say hello, she just asked if I was sure I wanted to come back - after my initial shock to her greeting, I responded that I would not be there if I didn’t want them to come back. Right away, I knew it was the wrong decision to go back. The owner is very rude. If she can talk like this to parents, I wonder how she treats the children. She really needs to take a look at her people skills and try to be nicer to people giving their money away to her.

My daughter has been attending Kumon Country Hills since the age of 3. Over the past year and a half, we have enjoyed watching her reading and writing flourish under Mrs. P's guidance. The staff are always super kind, helpful and respectful. We are thankful we made the choice to enroll little learner in Kumon, and grant her such amazing foundation her schooling. Thank you to Mrs. P and the entire team at Kumon Country Hills!

It is so strange that the staff or who so ever picks the call never shows an intent to provide information to the parent. We sent our child to Kumon in GTA, out there the staff were so friendly, willing to share information and most importantly encouraged to come forward for a personal discussion. I would never send my child to the country hills center.

My Son joined this Kumon center a year before. Since joining he is not only started reading and writing but also excelled in his Maths. This program really transformed him and unlocked his potential in reading and Math. Within a year, he received many awards. Many thanks to Mrs Patange for being so kind, professional and supportive. I highly recommend this Kumon center.

I have three kids, two of whom are currently enrolled in Kumon, and my eldest son is studying in his 3rd year Maths program in University of Waterloo after completing the Kumon Maths program. The credit for the success of all my kids goes to Pradnya, who not only ignited their curiosity by setting the bar higher but also nurtured within them a deep sense of accomplishment and professionalism. She knows her students inside out and wants more than 100% commitment from them and their parents. She knows so much about her students individual capabilities and strengths that we often take her advise while deciding which high school to choose or what would be the best career path for them. Enrolling my kids in Kumon under Pradnya's guidance has been one of the best decisions of my life.
