Paper Plus Cloth is a beautiful and amazing store that carries special and unique Japanese stationery items, some brands are Malaysian, Indonesian and Taiwanese and I enjoy those as well. P+C has become one of my favourite stationery shops of all time and browsing their new items makes me very happy. It's one of the best stationery stores in Toronto and I highly recommend it, whatever your stationery/gifting needs are!Cheers to all the staff who're always very friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond for me. Really lovely collection of stationary supplies like nibs and finetec watercolors. Hand written calligraphy thank you note was a sweet touch! I did an online order that came fast through Canada Post. Really looking forward to visiting their store in person.

Paper Plus Cloth - Japanese Stationery, Paper and Pen Store
This place is a great addition to the neighbourhood and is a pretty unique specialty store that sells washi tape, stationary supplies and journals. I really didn’t know what washi tape was used for. The staff was super friendly and demo’d a few ways on using the tape to add to a card or even make some creative art projects. I ended up taking home a pretty unique pineapple washi tape by the end of my visit. They got some really cool fancy pens that are all from Japan, stationary and post its. I don’t think you would be able to find any of this stuff at a Michael’s or other craft stores. They also hold workshops and encouraged me to come by anytime to learn more about journaling and other paper crafting projects. If in the area it’s definitely worth checking out and even worth making an effort to travel to if you’re really into journaling and imported Japanese stationary.

While I've ordered from paperpluscloth online without issue and been to the store it really is overpriced. Forgivable for a small business, but I've been trying to get a hold of them for months now to answer a question about whether an item will be restocked - I've reached out to them by email and on etsy and no one has responded. You'd think that at a small local business the whole point would be offering good customer service. Aha!
