This was my favourite when I was a kid in the 90’s the park and train are a tad different now but for the better I guess.

Bowness Park Mini Train
If you have kids and you are in Bowness park dont miss this mini train, its worth it, family tickets will be cheaper, but for a marginal price the train will go around the whole park and you can hop off at any spots over all its totally worth it check out my other review as there is boat ride too. Follow for more.

Parking space available all year round. Saw Bowness Park differently today. Never been here during winter. There was a lot of space for parking and ice skating available. Looked so beautiful

been trying to come for the train this past weeks and there are paper signs saying either open at 3:00pm or closed for inconvenience. So you cannot rely on phoning them to find out so you have to just go there physically to find out and if they are not running that day.. well.. then gotta find another option 2 playground or something else to do folks!

Bowness Park Mini Train
See my Bowness Train video on YouTube.Big fun for big and small kids, allow 3 hours in the Park. Train is privately run, but operated in a city public park. The loco is an MT-16, GM diesel at the head end and 3 cars in CPR livery.You'll enjoy every minute of the ride.Park allows ample picnicking but restaurant food is available. About 8 miles from downtown by car on city streets.The park is at the end of Route 1 BOWNESS, which runs downtown, near major hotel with about 30 minute service between buses, running from early morning to late night. Fare (2022) $3.50; you don't need to transfer from downtown. Ride takes about 30 minutes.

Amazing cute and small train that makes lot of noise but it's ok.. ride is around 12 minutes and ride cost is not high.. It is too small for adults to enjoy but they can also hop on.. kids will love it for sure..
