Merry Maids has been cleaning my house for several years now. I’m very happy with the cleaning they do, & the way they check with me each time they are coming to clean, to make sure the time works for me.

Terrible experience with the owner of the North Shore branch. I received a $50 gift card for Merry Maids and had every intention of spending much more with them, but had a challenging time even booking a first appointment! The owner could not commit to scheduling, even after I contacted him one month prior to the week I wanted to book, citing staff shortages. He said he would call me back to confirm and never did. The thing that really annoyed me was when I asked why I hadn't received acall back and confronted him about it, he said because I had to reschedule my first arrangement (due to a doctor appointment).After following up with them 4 separate times, the owner finally said You can give the gift card to someone else".I absolutely will not be using their services. What a waste. I genuinely tried to work with them but got no help in return."

When I spoke on the phone with the owner, he gave me the quote of $75 per hour and said it would take 2-3 hours to clean my house. There were two employees that showed up and it did take that amount of time - however, when he calculated the cost at the end it was $75 / hour / per employee, so it was $150 / hour!!My place was clean, but I will not be requesting their services again. I felt misled and cannot afford to pay that much again.
