This provincial park contains a short loop hike with absolutely spectacular views!A few placards describe the geology of the unique canyon, the sub-arctic flora that can only be found here south of Hudson's Bay, and the mythology of the stone head visible on the canyon.

Wonderful creation of nature. Parking available. Small trail. Make sure to carry mosquito or bug spray with you. Amazing view point.

Breathtaking views of one of Ontario’s best kept secrets.Just a short walk from the parking area, along some very well maintained trails, you will find yourself taking in an amazing, sweeping view of the second biggest canyon outside of the Grand Canyon south of the border.Kids loved it.Bring a camera for sure.

Absolutely gorgeous canyon. Short little walk through the trees. Approx 1.8kms. Very easy, not challenging at all. Different look out points. The views are so beautiful. I could visit this place every year.

Great provincial park with amazing views! Washrooms were closed when I was there (late May/earlier this week) and so was the park office, but to be slightly expected due to traveling during off season. Great history and stories on the plaques! Easy and very short trail/walk to the 2 lookouts.

The fall colors are very beautiful along the way to drive up. Noon could be a better time taking photo of the Canyon since the sun will shine both side of the canyon walls.

Drive in is a narrow road with a steep grade at one spot. I would not recommend coming in with a trailer. There is a disconnect spot at the bottom that looked easy enough to negotiate. Pit toilets at the trail head are nice and clean.

This nature reserve is easy to visit and has excellent trails. A picturesque canyon and interesting data on the formation of this canyon
