Terrible communication and experience. Our fiberglass pool cracked after about 12 years. Latham's warranty is pretty limited and doesn't cover surface cracks. Their quote for repair was listed as including 'all labour and material', but they omitted that I was responsible for draining and bracing the pool. They don't provide this service either, and it's nearly impossible to find someone to do this. Fiberglass pools are seen as a great product with a lower total cost of ownership, but if you have an issue it's extremely difficult to get it repaired. I tried for 2 years to find someone.

We bought a pool 19 years ago, there is supposed to be a limited lifetime warranty, basically there is no warranty, we have a crack in our pool, no fault of ours, Latham refuses to honor the warranty, say it’s not covered for that, then I’d like to know, what is under warranty, they offered help, by way of someone to fix it, 800$ to fix it, .80 cents a mile, travel time, from the Carolinas to Michigan and 56$ an hour for said travel and to fix the pool, what a joke, don’t get a fiberglass pool, also, we need to use their people to fix our pool, to maintain the warranty, what a joke, there is no warranty

What an amazing Company! I recently purchased a pool through a Lataham Dealer. The customer service is unbelievable at this company and they truly care about their customers right up to the top of the Company! I am so thankful we decided to go with Latham and look forward to many years of enjoyment with our new pool! Thank you :)

Do not buy from Lathem.Lathem is currently 57 weeks in (and counting) on our order.I am posting on for my current jobs as a landscaping contractor that sub contracts pools..... we gave a 15k deposit on a fiberglass pool in October.... October of LAST YEAR. They have still to deliver us anything!! The 4 times we have called throughout the year they promise to expedite the manufacturing, however they have missed their own deadlines. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. First promise was June, they missed it. next was late August, they missed that. Now it is supposed to be shipped mid December, but I'm not holding my breath.Any other pool manufacturer has a 2-3 month turn around. Lathem is saying +12 months is their standard.Do yourself a favor, if you put 15k down, make sure you do so at an actually reputable company, not Lathem.

Worst place to work where you have to face bunch of bullies all the time.They need to start working on to provide safe and bully free work environment for all employees.

If you are considering a new pool or a replacement liner STAY AWAY from Latham Products. Our pool was installed in the fall of 2016 and we covered it 2 weeks later. In the spring of 2017 we opened our pool and started using it at the end of May. By the end of the season this is what our liner looked like. It is severely discolored above the water line and Latham won't consider any type of warranty claim. I have heard every excuse from chemicals being wrong to the sun exposure causing it. I take a water sample to the pool store every 2 weeks and have never had an issue with chemicals. The liner on the south side of the pool looks like new. I can rub the print right off of the liner. It is defective and they will not acknowledge it. STAY AWAY from their products.
