Every time I spoke with the doctor, she gave me excuses. “Your dog is too big, couldn’t examine her as much as I would have liked”. My dog is a Great Dane. I did not hide this fact from them before they proceeded to examine her. Explained to me that a sedative would be necessary for X-ray, makes sense. Then tells me she didn’t get all the pictures she would have liked because the sedative wore off, should have given larger dose...sigh. $740 later we had X-rays, pain killers, anti inflammatory pills and speculation about a torn ACL. Suggested we book an appointment with an orthopaedic specialist for an exploratory surgery. I asked for a copy of the X-rays for my doctor and they were sent the next day. I will most likely not go back with any of my pets. If an emergency arises I will find another venue. PS. The reception was courteous and professional.

Unacceptable on every level, and every interaction so far. When the vet finally did see us, it was a quick diagnosis, and two shots. Less than 15 minutes. I will never get back the three hours I had to wait for that. Competence is not the problem here.

My dog tore a ligament in her knee. Met with orthopedic, surgery the next week. Service was amazing. So far, very happy with the results. Thank you to Dr Terreros and his team

The staff here are so kind, knowledgeable and very thorough to answer any questions. I had brought my cat here for an emergency procedure for a urinary blockage. They were very quick to assess and treat him. Since he was in their care for 2 days they would send me photos and kind words to ease my mind. They are priced a bit higher than average but it is for a reason; they give excellent care for your pet. I would recommend the DMV Sud to everyone if they want their pets to have immaculate care. Thank you to all your team for your kind compassionate hearts!!

As many other emergency vets, they charge and prey on our lack of knowledge and information.I walked in with my dog on labor day, all knowing its an emergency clinic and i will have to pay more for consult, which makes sense. While i was there, two others dogs came in and owners described the exact same symptoms: potential Kennel Cough.They took my dog to the back, after a while a doctor comes and asks questions, as soon as i mentioned a special condition my dog has, her looked change and all of a sudden i had to do xrays ($$). After said xrays, they found small lesions. Never was i offered to see the said xrays. They prescribed some antibiotics, more money. We are 24h later, my dog coughed twice since then, clearly not the antibiotics’ results. I feel like my dog is taking unecessary meds, but i dont know because they didnt know. I paid a crazy amount to have Maybes and What-ifs answers. So basicaly i was riped of $500+ yesterday. This is dishonest. Will never go back there

The emergency service at this clinic is excellent! The staff is nice and very sweet to my dog. I have been three times already, since my dog likes to eat anything she finds (ex: brownies). They don’t try to oversell anything, they truly have my dog’s best interest.They are also very sweet if you give them a call ahead to talk about any concern with your dog. I usually always call before driving to the clinic.

At the clinic you are going to meet the most down to earth veterinarians and also the most professional ones! This is the ONLY clinic I’ve been so far, that actually cares about your pets well being and not about the money. Hats down to Dr. Angelika and for her professional help. She is the best in entire Quebec. She loves her job, she loves and cares about the animals, and it shows. Also the receptionist and technicians are great people and they’ll help you in any way they can. I am pleasantly surprised to meet such an amazing team.

I brought my cat on a Saturday for a life-threatening emergency (a thrombosis), and they did an excellent job at explaining the problem, the potential complications, the possible outcomes, gave me clearly the options I had (basically letting my cat go or paying a lot for a treatment without any certitude) without pushing me to spend money at all. I chose to try and save the cat, and they took really good care of him, they communicated with me very well and explained everything that happened until my cat was transferred to Lachine to see a cardiologist. (And by the way, the care he got at DMV Lachine was in every way as good as here).Anyway, long story short, the cat is home, sleeping on my lap tonight and I'm extremely thankful for that.However I'm sorry but I'm not writing that I'll come back if I can avoid it!

Spent thousands of dollars for no answer as to why our cat is sick. We brought him in right away as another cat had the same symptoms and died within days. They were supposed to call us back to tell us when we could go in for the 48 hour consultation and they didn’t, couldn’t get through when we tried to call. Got through on day 3 and they literally laughed when we asked if it would be included.

Well this place takes the cake and asks for a Gold icing ! This place was suggested to me by my long trusted vet clinic Mercier vet hospital which btw is a 5 Star clinic, because he was too big for there MRI to work. My dog had what I feared was a blockage of intestines. Well I made the mistake of saying there is no limit for my furbabie's health! Sooo the financial abuse started.. They convinced me to do one MRI after another. When it became apparent that they were abusing me because they where doing MRIs of part NOT related to his ailments I spoke up and politely said it was costing a fortune. There response was and you can't make this up ! They said, ' You said there was no limit for your dog ' . I could go on & on, suffice to say after spending 5K , there Professional Medical solution was to give my soulmate Meta Mucil !!! Yup +5k and Meta Mucil and my dog still has issues with his digestion. To add insult to injury my dog smelt awful and that smell got onto all my household bedding, couch etc, Had to get him a professional cleaning!!AVOID AT ALL COST!! They are thieves taking advantage of people's love for the pets.
