Amazing farmers market!!! Great for local food and crafts- really reasonable prices and great quality. Make this a spot to grab some local crafts and items for souvenirs. Great little Park outside for the kids too!

Mabou Farmers Market
We've been coming here off and on for about eight years or so. Me and my now wife move it here. However I will say it's hard to move at points. I love the verity and have bought some big ticket items.I really enjoy this and still remember how they moved to Rankin high in the winter, it's quite a great place to stop off at. There is a lady towards the entrance and I always buy something off her, something Angel's, all I know is she took the time to explain a lot of agriculture and some of the seasons, she's wonderful and love her baked goods.

Mabou Farmers Market
Not so much a farmers market as an artisans market but it was fun just the same. I tend to prefer more fresh veg and local meat then stained glass and carved wood but everything we saw was nice. Ended up picking up a few things and then moving along. Worth a look if you're in the area.

Mabou Farmers Market
Really fun community-oriented farmers market, laid out with plenty of space to browse the vendors. We were there in June and there were about half a dozen produce vendors, several crafters, coffee, prepared food (delicious Indian food for lunch!) and some unique offerings. A good number of the vendors were at the Antigonish market the day before. The adjacent playground area is great if you have little kids.

Great variety of vendors. Martin's Bakery had killer.fresh roast, ground on ordering espresso and excellent German style baking. The meat stall has really good natural sausage hotdogs. The very cool 'Peace By Chocolate' is fabulous. Can only say good things. A must see.

Nova Scotia is one of the most scenic places in North America and probably have the nicest locals we've ever met! Cape Breton is a unique place that to believe you have to experience. Scottish Gaels' influence on Cape Breton stems from the 19th century.The Mabou Farmers Market is a seasonal market of local substance and tradition. The crafts are unique and world class quality, the food unique and delicious and the produce was fresh, crisp, colorful and huge (some of the carrots were about 14 long and 2.5" in diameter).The Celtic music is live and you can't help but tap your foot to the fiddler's playing."
