The staff in the store are few and far between. The ones you can find have no idea what they are doing and no semblance of understanding what products they carry. When asking the paint department staff where I could find Spackle or Putty to fix nail holes in walls, they had no idea of what that was and sent me to housewares. The other staff I had encountered were no better. If this store has a manager, they should rethink their career path.

We purchased 4 tires and made appointment to change them in store. However 3 of the bolts were destroyed when the green hand staff tried to take them off. I didn’t know what happened and hurry to use the car so that I returned the new tires and took the car back. However when I realize it’s their mistake and go back to store to talk, the manager told me to find solution by myself! I can’t believe in Canada there can be such a crazy thing!

In my recent experience this is the most frustrating business I have dealt with in a very long time. I phoned ahead to inquire if a product was in stock and after being hung up twice, I was finally able to speak to someone who assured me the product was available and in stock. I was provided the product number and which aisle where it might be found.When I travelled to the store, the product was not in stock.Bus rides and a waste of time and effort!! Very poor customer service.

I'm only shop here for automotive it's really good they usually have competitive pricing usually everything's in stock I also like this selection of camping and other household good. You also get the bonus money which is kind of nice the triangle MasterCard gives you more points. Overall pretty good

I absolutely Love the prices and choices at Canadian Tire and do shop there often. Tonight I went in with my partner, we both had things we needed so parted ways, and I was followed by your secret shopper the Entire time I was there. She wasn't even Trying to be inconspicuous, I could tell after seeing her the 2nd time within 5 minutes apart that she was following and watching me the whole time. I do Not appreciate having an employee stalk me while I'm about to drop over $200. I ran into her about 6x Minimum within the half hour I was there. This is unacceptable and will prevent me from returning to this location anytime soon.

These stores are huge and can be very confusing to find what you're looking for.Thankfully this location has a really handy touchscreen when you walk in, so you can search for and find your item(s) quickly.I think it could be better if they had better navigation throughout the store tho, as once you're in the maze, it can still be tricky to find the correct aisle.Cash out is always a pleasant experience.

Tried to buy a BBQ, app said it was in stock. First day it took them 45min to figure out the one I wanted was actually in an off site wearhouse. Day two I get a BBQ but after taking it up 3 flights of stairs realize it's the wrong one. When I brought it back turns out they still didn't have the correct one. Going to the Langley store tomorrow where hopefully they actually have one.

Very friendly staff and huge inventory and location.If you live nearby South Surrey, this is the spot to go.

Took my dodge caravan in to canadian tire auto because it was slightly drifting to the left. I was told it needed a wheel they completed at a cost of $130. Picked it up and noticed nothing changed, still drifting to left and now steering wheel is off center. Took it back and was told it needed front calipers. So they installed front calipers at a cost of $590. I was thinking they must have realized they made a mistake the first visit and would compensate me the $130 since it wasn't fixed at that time but no they said it was done and done and I was the one who took the extra wasted cost of first visit, no sympathy or apology just pay the extra and get the ## out. Total cost for their missed diagnosis and another guess...$720...WOW...still drifts to the left. They need a head mechanic there to properly diagnose a vehicle instead of letting the apprentice do it. Not recommended, your not saving here with bad workers. Total rip-off. Sad
