My daughter has been taking ballet and hip hop lessons here for several years and has absolutely loved it! The studio is incredibly professional, the staff are awesome and they set excellent standards.

Our family was fortunate to start at Soul Connexion when our daughter was just a toddler and every year that we come back to the studio we feel grateful to be part of the Soul Connexion family. Ever since the first time we walked through the doors, we have felt a sense of kindness and love which can be directly attributed to Miss Cara's goals and vision for the studio she opened.As the years pass, we have gotten the opportunity to work with more teachers and I must say all the teachers our daughter has worked with have been incredible. They support her and all the students through positivity while challenging them to be the best they can be whether in class or on stage. They are dedicated to their students and their constant encouragement allows them to flourish. My daughter has never had a teacher who she did not like and want to do her best for. Overall I would say the teachers here do an amazing, amazing job. You can tell by the way they interact with the dancers and each other that this place is like home to all of us.Soul Connexion has fueled our daughter's love of dance and creativity by allowing her to try the numerous different dance styles offered at the studio. Within the studio she learns the discipline of dance while feeling free to find and be her authentic self. Beyond the skills demonstrated on the dance floor, Soul Connexion also teaches her self confidence, positive attitude, commitment, perseverance, resiliency, respect & kindness. As she grows older the non-dance skills she gains weekly at the studio are proving to be an essential part of who she is as much as the dances she performs.At Soul Connexion, Miss Cara, the Soul Sisters at the front desk and all of the dance teachers foster an inviting and inclusive atmosphere that promotes community and acceptance amongst the dancers and families. Their work in the community allows the dancers to be part of something so much bigger than a dance recital. Thank you Soul Connexion for being present in our community!

We signed up our daughter for the toddler summer camp. Our whole experience felt weird.1) At first the reception never looks at who comes into the studio. She never greeted us until the last day of camp. One time my husband had to take our daughter back inside 10 minutes after camp to use the washroom… and reception didn’t even care. It gives us a feeling that the school didn’t give much briefing to its staff about child safety here.2) the teacher and assistant are very young. So I get it if there’s some situation where they’re not experienced enough to handle. For example, my daughter put two toys from the school into her bag. I found the toys before leaving the premise and handed it over to the teacher . The first thing they did was to blame and give an annoyed face at my daughter. They didn’t investigate the reason why my daughter put the toy inside her bag. I was shocked when i found the toy in the bag. Our daughter apologized and we returned the toy back to the teacher but my daughter was left with a lot of shame. She quickly turned around and hugged me tight. Didn’t dare to look at anyone.3) We didn’t feel quick welcomed in general. Not much eye contact or communication with neither the reception or the teachers.4) at the last day class viewing session, I can see that the young teacher did put effort in lesson planning. She used imaginative methods to teach the dance moves and yoga to the little ones. We appreciate her hard work. I can imagine that this camp is fun for toddlers. I have one suggestion for the director of the school though. The program can be much better if the school can provide more budget for the teacher to shop for some supplies. The art session was quite disappointing. I thought my Daughter would be involved in some simple art lessons (knowing that the kids are only 3-4yo, there’s not much u can do anyway) but each day my daughter only brings home printed colouring sheets. I can even do that myself at home. I don’t need to pay that much money to do the same thing in the dance studio.5) it’s nice to have a photo and a water bottle to take home in the last day. But tbh, I’d rather the school spend this budget towards supplies for the teacher. I use to teach summer camp too, quite a few years ago. The director only gave me $10 budget to buy all the art supplies for both studio locations. That’s impossible. I have to pay for the rest of the supplies myself.

I have well over 30 years of experience with dance studios ,with dancing personally and thru enrollment of my daughters and there is no doubt that Soul Connexion is by far the best studio I have come across. Soul Connexion not only cares about dance as an art form but how their students thrive in a compassionate and respectful environment.In addition to the owner of this studio being an amazing individual, her teachers and support staff are equally amazing!

My Daughter was blessed with the opportunity to attend, ever though for a short period she was noticed and loved. Great school ❤️

Absolutely love Soul Conexxion! The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and polite, and they are just so nice to chat with. There is always someone there to answer questions, unlike the previous dance studio we were at. My son started taking lessons in Sept 2016, and I've met two of the teachers, Miss Haley and Miss Ashley. The are both wonderful, as I'm sure all the other teachers are too. My son loves taking dance with them as they make it fun and exciting. We will definitely be continuing with this dance studio for years to come. I would recommend this place to everyone considering lessons for themselves or their little ones.

Not many timing choices for children's class. They have very odd timings and only if one of the parent is at home can then they enroll the children's unlike mygym or other dance studios.

Soul connection is the best dance studio ever!!! Both of my daughters go there. We have done mini movers, tiny toes, tiny tumblers and now kinder movers. The environment is so welcoming, friendly and professional. Cara the owner is so passionate about the Studio and really wants your child to thrive. The teachers are so inspiring and really want the best for your children also. Shout out to Miss Paige as she has the best high energy and every Wednesday my daughter leaves dance class in the best mood! They also have high quality costumes and put on such great dance recitals! Even when covid-19 hit they did everything in their power to still showcase the year digitally!!! Thank you for continuing to provide us with such a great place to send our children too! I have only amazing things to say about this studio!!! Such a positive place for my daughters to grow up!

It is a nurturing environment and encouraging for young dancers just starting out. Our daughter has been attending the studio for three years and loves it. Also, my husband and I took the couples dance class and had a wonderful time. The teachers are very patient and helped beginners like us learn the steps at our own pace.

We absolutely love this studio and all of the amazing staff who work here! Both of my daughters have danced at the studio for the past couple of years (ballet, jazz, lyrical, tiny toes) and they even offer fitness and dance classes for adults! Try the adult hip hop class; it's a blast! We love the sense of community and the messages of love, resilience and unity that they instill in the kids. Highly recommend for all levels of dancers, young and old!
