Mattamy Homes - Views on the Preserve

I've had experience with Mattamy as this was my third purchase from them. The customer service is not perfect but once the issues are communicated, they do respond in a timely manner. Overall Mattamy is a value proposition and is a mass volume builder. One has to keep this in mind and manage expectation. In comparison to other builders, I would rate Mattamy above for value, design and upgrade options. We are very happy with our purchases so far and would recommend them for home owners who have experience with home ownership. First time buyers will have to manage expectation.

Still finding details in the home that do not meet Ontario Building Code including R0 (that is no insulation value) in the building envelope. Mattamy refuses to acknowledge or own the issue. No oversight and literally being able to cover up the issue (ie: cladding or finishes) leaves buyers vulnerable to issues long-after the TARION period.

Your construction job at Dundas and Six Line started 7:30am on Saturday morning. It made a disturbing noise and vibration when we were trying to have a good sleep in the weekend morning. This is unacceptable. All you care is to making money. We will never buy anything from your company ever.

I have been contact customer service over a month now, but no one even reply my email. There is a puddle at the end of my driveway and it become larger and deeper which bother me so much. I even got complaints from neighbors. Can someone guide me to proper team to help me out?

Worst home builder ever. Going through warranty is so hard. Mattamy just don't care. If you are lucky they might come but without tools. The checklist grows bigger because they try to work on 1 list and break 3 and vandalize/break your property. The best is to just leave things the whey they are when you receive it. Where does Mattamy hire these warranty people from. Anyways as a customer never again. My 1 year form has 50 items and now it has 60. Don't know how that happens! Must be Mattamy's magic! So would I buy again from Mattamy NO WAY!

Excellent customer service and a quick turn around. Robert Lang, the Manager and Michelle , the assistant builder from Mattamy Oakville were very helpful and went out of the way to make me happy and addressed all the concerns. All other technician such as Manny, Lam, Sid, Danny, Hamza etc were very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend Mattamy folks, they are such great and very helpful

My dad bought an estate home last year and had moved a few month ago. The floorplan does not do the justice. My parents could not be happier with with end result. A few issues along the way but they were quickly corrected. Great sales team and construction staff - thank you Marta, Kevin and Mary for the courtesy and patience with my father. English is not his first language and he appreciates the extra time and dedication from you all.

The front desk Philippine girl is very rude. She kept saying they don’t have any information unless I register on their website first . And all the sales are in the meeting, I have to call one of them before visiting. It looks like she was busy with something on her computer, and customer’s visit interrupted her.I was a loyal Mattermy customer, but won’t go back since they become so unprofessional this year.

I'm driving in Burlington right now and someone in your truck was driving extremely aggressively, swaying in and out of lanes without signalling. Shameful.

Sales rep name: Martha , this has been the worst customer experience I've had in all of my life in a country like Canada where customerserviceis highlyappreciated. I walked in with my wife ready to purchase a 1.3 mil house and we had to deal with her being so un professional and not explaining anything with details as anytime we ask about something she would say refer to the brochure instead of doing her job as a salesperson and try to give us details/options or even explain to us what we are paying for ( she wasn't even trying to make a sale). we walked away because we were upset with the service quality, we came back and asked for a different sales person and we complained to him about what happen. MARTHA decided to come after us all the way to the parking lot ready to fight!!!! Tried to insult us After she was told we complained about her service!!! She was aggressive, judgemental and spoke to us poorly with no manners like she doesn't give a damn about anything! Instead of trying to understand our frustration or try to explain, she was just ready to fight!
