Durand Village

I became a resident of Durand Village in 2006. It is a decision I have been thoroughly happy with since and hope to continue living here for a long time. I cannot express enough the wonderful satisfaction you have to know your home is both looked after with the best professionals available but also the personal touches given each of us to value our residency. It is more than just an address. I would recommend anyone looking for an apartment in downtown Hamilton to visit and view this address and know you won't be disappointed by your choice.

Durand Village is a well thought out place to live. Personally I’m enjoying the amenities that this complex offers and my spacious apartment that has plenty of natural light. Management is very friendly and responds quickly to issues. HIghly recommend this place.

Durand village is in a very convenient location and the buildings are kept clean and inviting. The apartments are always updated, refurbished and has a new look all the time. Bus stops and Go station are just minutes away on foot.I have been there for 2 months now and there are no complaints. Special thanks to Selina and Ben at the management office. They do an awesome job making sure everything runs smoothly and what I value most is the quick communication. Selina and Ben are super friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help out! Durand village is highly recommended!! I am a happy customer!

Lived here from 2017 to 2020, when I moved out of province. Moved back in 2022, and after looking at several other buildings, I was just delighted to move back into Durant Village. Just like coming home! The complex offers so many amenities, all of which are well maintained and accessible: pool / gym / event rooms (2). Everyone is so friendly, it is like our own community. Management is fantastic - responsive, knowledgeable, helpful! A great team!

We have looked at quite a few apartments in the complex and have nothing but positive things to say. Ben has gone above and beyond to show us around and accommodate our schedules. It is obvious that the staff and management care about the tenants and want everyone to have a great experience living here.Selina is also wonderful and the complex itself is a place you can call home. We can’t wait to move in!

Do not rent here. I have had my car broken into twice in the secure and survillenced" underground parking and I know alot of other tenants have had the same problem. Bentall Kennedy only cares about improving the aesthetics of these three buildings so they can charge premium rent prices while completely ignoring the lack of security provided for tenants. This is the only place I've lived where the laundry room is more secure than the parking garage."

Great management staff, good amenities, nevertheless, wait a year for the renovations to be completed.The goodThe building is quite central and has easy access to bus stops. There's a bikeshare rental space right downstairs with quick access to bikelanes.The management is extremely responsive and is always happy to help with questions. They also host wonderful festive decorations.The building houses a small but well-equipped gym, a game room and a social room.The badThey have ongoing renovations and during the day time the noise can be truly unbearable. Should you have a work from home situation, I would avoid the building until the renovations are complete.
