Canalta Hotel Rocky Mountain House

Another great experience with Canalta! Our kids enjoyed the pool after our hike all day. Breakfast was great too. Super friendly staff!Our room was amazing! Adults have our own privacy and beds were extremely comfy! Plus housekeeping did this to our son's bed. Put a big smile on our face when we walked in, we found it so cute ☺️ Thank You

Hotel was well managed and clean. Staff were great and the breakfast was perfect. As a celiac I didn't think there would be anything for me except fruit. What a wonderful surprise to find they had gluten free bread and the icing on the cake was when staff informed they had a dedicated gluten free toaster that they keep put away until asked. Our next stay in Rocky Mountain house will definitely be at this hotel!

What else can I say but the staff here are incredible, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is great AND complimentary. Marci and Ash (the dynamic duo) have been more than accommodating both times I’ve been here, they answered all my questions and were very welcoming when I arrived. Will stay here every time I’m in Rocky.

I have the pleasure of travelling all over Canada for work. I have to say that this is by far the friendliest and the best hotel that I stay in. Not because of the quality of the hotel per se but for the staff. Marci and the other front desk staff. Are the friendliest and most helpful that I have ever dealt with. They make my trip to Rocky Mountain house the most enjoyable that I have ever experienced two thumbs up, way up, for the fantastic staff here

Immediately upon entering room I noticed it appeared old and dated. I also thought it smelled musky. Buy my wife said she couldn't smell anything. We had a kitchenette and an earwig was seen running off the counter down into the space between counter and stove. And a small round bug was found next day onnthe counter. Another bug was found on the bedspread, but its possible that came off our clothes or luggage.Found what appeared to be mould in ceiling corners of shower. The carpet was not clean, especially at the edges by the walls. If the placed was renovated and cleaned it would be good place. Staff was very friendly and efficient.This place is much better than some alternatives in town but if I have a choice, next time I'll stay across the street.

We had such a great experience at this hotel. Comfortable, clean, amazing staff, fantastic breakfast options.Putting this hotel in the exceptional category was the awesome coffee bar in the lobby, and the Canadian made, Indigenous owned toiletries.We will absolutely be back!

The cleaning staff really made this trip for my kids; they arranged all of their stuffed animals in some kind of pile design that made their day. They were also just generally extremely friendly. The breakfast staff person was lovely and very accommodating to my kids. We enjoyed the pool and the full breakfast. The hotel itself seemed a little rough/worn and the rooms were small for the price point. There was also very little water pressure in our room.

There was multiple family's traveling together. They where absolutely wild and acted like animals all weekend. They ran up and down the hallways kids yelling at all hours. The pool was uncomfortable due to loudness of these family's and the worst part was they where in the breakfast area almost the entire weekend. They ate all the food and there literally was nothing left for my family to eat when we went to eat. While they had stacks of dirty plates on their table. It would have been nice if the staff would have addressed the noise or even at least made sure we got some breakfast we had paid for as part of the room. Instead they told us sorry we don't have enough.

Check out this awesome surprise when I got in! I asked for extra coffee. They dropped off lots for me and some dish soap and towels for my dishes! (I had them drying on the counter) Their note says Today's good mood is sponsored by COFFEE!"This totally made my day! The staff at the front counter are just as amazing

Great! Hotel rooms were super clean. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Easy to find right off the highway would definitely recommend
