I ain't gonna lie, Mario knows good coffee and is a talented dude!Awesome experience, super nice, european-vibed, homey, humble, comfortable and local coffee house serving up yummy, authentic drinks and delicious snacks.I loved this experience, a phenomenal visit and I'm stoked for a return visit for sure.They have oat milk for dairy free alternatives here.Ciao! Mario's is truly a gem. Not only do they have excellent breakfast food and coffee; but you also get to interact with Mario himself, who's an amazing host, and makes everyone feel welcome.

This is a nice coffee shop in downtown, the staff is really friendly, however $14 for a half panini is too steep. I know inflation is hitting everyone, but the price here seems to have gone up almost 40% in the last 1-2 years. Having said that, the sandwich was really tasty but I most probably won’t be paying 14 bucks for something that doesn’t hold me over. They have a $16 special of a coffee, sandwich and potato salad which people might find more cost effective.

The omelette taste really really good and all the staff are super friendly. All the breakfast and coffee are fantastic!!! When you come to Vancouver, it is a MUST try for those who love to drink coffee.

Arrived at noon on a weekday and received speedy service. Mario greeted me on entry; he and his staff are very friendly and work well together. The atmosphere is a great mix of a bar-turned-coffeebar with the wood bar as a serving counter and hightop tables for seating. Coffee was fresh and out quick. Food was carried out as table service despite the busy lunch how. Panini was delicious. Lunch combo of coffee, panini and potato salad at $15 is a great value purchase.

While staying in a hotel one block away from Marios, I happened upon him just opening, and he welcomed me in before the actual opening time. His brewed coffee wasn’t ready yet but he offered to make two fabulous Americanos for my daughter and myself. I came back the next day for more of the same.Mario and his staff are welcoming and friendly with a real old-school charm. We went back a number of times to enjoy coffee and pastries, in particular, we liked the Americano, Caramilla and their almond croissants.Lovely and unique option when you want to avoid the chains.

Although I had worked downtown for years, I missed this gem. As I walked to a meeting, I saw their little sign outside:Today's Special........... and YOU ARE TOO!It was such a lovely surprise that I took a moment to go and thank the owner for such a lift. Later I went back for lunch and the coffee was awesome, the service amazing and the food very delicious.The atmosphere has a positive vibe. I look forward to going back and taking a friend with me. I told all my former co-workers about this place; it definitely worth visiting

It took me 5 days of sampling around downtown to finally stumble on this little hole-in-the-wall espresso bars. Coffee is so good, it’s surreal. My mocha has the perfect balance of sweet and bitter.
