Have been to this shop a few times for basic maintenance and also some fixes (such as battery replacement). Joe is honest, efficient, will be 100% on top of whatever is wrong with your car, and clearly communicates what you need/don't need. Pricing reasonable. Excellent mechanic!

I had my van tested and serviced by Joe twice and had a great experience with him both times. He took the time to explain and show me what was going on with my AC and front brakes and repaired everything in a timely manner. Highly recommend Joe and his staff!

I have been having my car maintained by Joe for nearly 6 years now, and I have to say, the man is the best! He is very professional, honest, and works hard to ensure that there isn't a thing missed. One instance of his great customer care is when I had to rush in near closing time and have a battery replaced with very short notice. Highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Joe to Soares Auto Repair. I came to see him after the dealership recommended pricey repairs for a damaged control arm, saying both had to be replaced at the same time. Joe was able to save me several hundred dollars as he advised that only the damaged part needs to be replaced. He was also extremely understanding about leaving my car on the lot for 5 days while I went home for the holidays, and then for another 3 days after my flight back was cancelled. Excellent communication, value, honesty, and customer service - I will definitely be coming back for future mechanical work and general maintenance.

Great experience, I couldn’t have asked for better. I had a pretty major coolant leak and was recommended Soares Auto though a forum. I was a bit nervous the issues with my car would exceed my fears but I gave them a call. I spoke directly to Joe and he was able to get me in right away (due to the active snowy conditions), I got the car to them and Joe explained their rates, and a general timeline. Later the same day, I got a call from Joe, he explained the issue was a crack in a plastic housing and provided me with some optional recommendations along with an estimate for parts and labor. I was able to grab the car at the end of the day, fixed and with a bill which was within the original estimate! A few days later Joe reached out by text to check in with how my car was running, I had some concerns due to smell so he asked me to bring it in for a quick check. Once I brought it back, his team pressure checked my system and informed me it was just some coolant residue tacked on the engine and there were no leaks. They gave my engine a quick wash, then provided me with advice on what to look out for and when to be concerned; this all took around 45 minutes. The car is running great, as well having a full inspection of my vehicle I truly understand how my vehicle is doing and what needs attention. I appreciate the work their team has done and am relieved to have a mechanic to help me keep my car running.
