Shockingly filthy. I always pull back the sheet to check the mattress for bed bugs - I travel extensively. Never in my life have I ever seen a filthier mattress. There were multiple stains, yellow, brown, you name it. There was no mattress protector, just a thin cheap sheet over it. It was a literal biological hazard from the looks of it. The blanket on the bed was torn to shreds on the underside which is completely unacceptable. Seriously guys - this place didn't even meet the basic bare minimum of any standards anywhere. I have never seen a worse bed anywhere. Ever. Do better!

We arrived late, which was no problem. We checked in and then enjoyed some drinks and played pool. A nice way to unwind! The staff here is awesome! They are willing to do anytime to make your stay more enjoyable.Rooms are clean, affordable and the food in the restaurant is great. We will definitely be back!

We spent two night here on way to Clear lake. We stayed room with two bed at second floor. Rooms were clean, nice and comfortable. Motel has chicken delight and menu has a great variety of food choices, beverages and drinks and restaurant has relaxing place for drinks and dining. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. It was nice place to have a real summer vacation with my family.

Owners were super friendly! We were able to check in late, and both mornings we were slow getting up but they still said we could have our breakfast! The rooms were very clean! You can tell they've put in a lot of work!

Was travelling across Canada and needed to rest overnight in a remote location. Overall, it was a good stay in a remote location, and room was very clean.Only downside was a seemingly deceptive marketing strategy. The “free” breakfast was (oddly) served at 10 am. I left around 8 am the following morning and the closest place to grab breakfast out west was a good 2-3 hrs away, given everything was closed in Canada Day. I would have paid the same price for the room without free breakfast advertised, and planned accordingly.

At first glance we were not too sure. The Front entrance made us almost turn back. The leaking freezers in the front with a caution wet sign wasn't a great first sight. Owners need to address it more than with a sign as it was still like that in the morning. The lady who checked us in was very nice and had no problems showing us a room first. We called ahead to book a room and paid direct which was cheaper than online. Our room was nicely decorated with mostly new amenities. It was clean and for the price it was a good deal! Looks newly renovated and has alot of potential.

After driving from Saskatoon to Winnipeg we nearly ran out of gas later in the evening after we could not find a gas station that accepted credit cards at the pump when closed. In desperation we stopped by Shooters Bar which is owned by the same people as Valley Motel and ran into the kindest people in Canada. They were determined to find a way to get us gas. They went out of their way to help us even though they were on their way home - at first they tried to siphon gas out of their own truck but then were able to find a gas container that gave us enough to get to an open station. They even called the station to make sure they were open and told us to call them if we ran out on the way and they would come with help. I tried to pay for the gas but they would not accept our money and just wanted us to pay it forward. Leaving this review is the least I can do - I'm sure if they treat strangers like this they will also treat customers of their bar, hotel and restaurant well. Thank you again, you saved our night!

Any rating above 2 stars is a fake review. I’ve been trying to find the words to describe my brief stay in room 105. Do not have any expectations, and be prepared to step out of your comfort zone. If you paid more then $40 to sleep in the”building”, you have paid too much. Was it better then sleeping outside? Yes. Only because of the over night frost. I walked in the room, at 11:30pm on a Saturday night after 17 hours of driving, and knew I messed up by not shopping around. First thing I did was pull down the bed covers. I discovered what was either animal hair in the central part of the bedding, or short human hair. I then wanted a shower, and as a contractor, I wasn’t sure to laugh, or be concerned at the lowest level of construction possible. If mild isn’t an issue now, it is guaranteed to be soon. I showered, and then used to towels to soak up the flooded bathroom floor, fully dressed myself and went to sleep. I was too lazy to check for bed bugs, but after my long day, I was also too afraid to discover what I feared was very possible.
