It was a rainy day in Burlington, so my fiancé and I decided to come visit the Echo Center. It's definitely more for kids, but grown adults can also have fun here. The 3D movie was actually very nice and enjoyable. The center is a bit smaller than I expected, but it was a fun day here.

We had a fantastic time! For a smaller center, this was incredibly interactive. Great experience for all ages! The kiddos had a wonderful time. It was very educational and there was plenty of areas with a vast variety of activities. They also had plenty of seating available for senior citizens to take a break. I would highly recommend!

ECHO is such a fun place to visit! Great exhibits, interesting facts, diverse fish from Lake Champlain, and beautiful views of the Lake. The staff was friendly. The Leahy Center should be on your list during a visit to Burlington!

FANTASTIC science museum with many hands on engineering exhibits, lots of exploration space for little ones and many fish, turtles, etc to enjoy. Consider this a ‘“must do” if you are with children.

We loved coming here with our kiddo, definitely a great range of opportunities to explore! Loved all the exhibits and we didn’t even get to see them all. Could’ve spent days here. Gift shop was full of awesome stuff and mementos too.I want to give 6 stars but here are a few suggestions:1. Splash mats under the water table to prevent slips on spilled water2. Lower hand rails so kids can navigate stairs by themselvesAgain I absolutely loved it, very minor critiques

ECHO was so fun! The staff is so engaging and eager to share. There was so much to see and do, we spent about 2hrs there as adults but plan to spend longer if you are with kids who can play with more of what there is on offer. We loved seeing all the different animals but I think the goofy sturgeons in the lake room really captured our heart the most!We were worried about accessibility but had no problem navigating every single thing in a wheelchair. No missed opportunities! However, we were disappointed as this day had been advertised by ECHO as a masked day at ECHO which was important as one of us is immunocompromised, however we only saw one staff member and no other patrons in a mask. In the future, if you intend to offer masked days, please consider that you put folks at risk by not giving them the accurate information to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.

My husband and I eloped at ECHO the day before he graduated medical school and we honestly couldn't have done it without Sabiha and the ECHO team. Here's how we eloped:We told both of our parents to arrive at ECHO at 6:45pm dressed up for a surprise. Sabiha greeted both of our parents and asked them to follow a path of rose petals and 300+ candles.Along the path they stopped and found photos of all of us and letters to each our parents. They then continued to follow the path and found my now husband, the officiant, Zoey our dog and bouquet and I at the top waiting to have a civil ceremony. Our marriage and elopement wasn't just about us. It was in a weird way a thank to our parents who supported us BOTH through the highs and lows of relationship and also my husbands medical career.Anyway, this night will forever be in our hearts and we can't thank Sabiha enough.

Well maintained kids science museum. Our kids ages 5, 8, and 12 all had a lot of fun for more than 2 hours. Lots of hands on interactive exhibits. It's located next to a nice waterfront park good for a stroll and also has boat cruises next door.

We try and go here each year on summer break as it is a bit of a drive from us but always a great time. Hands on science that the kids love to explore for hours. We also get a discount pass from our local library which makes it a very affordable day trip. Can be very busy and a little chaotic, even during the week, but we haven’t had a problem being able to explore everything we want to.
