Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. They compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. What a great hotel. We took advantage of the Family Day Package and had a fantastic Stay. The Staff treated us like royalty in every department. The pool was fantastic and the restaurant breakfast buffet was delicious. We are already planning to be back.

Nice view from 15 floor, friendly staff, you feel rich when the doormen open the door for you. They're funny, and very friendly. The parking garage is big enough that even me, an incompetent parker, never had a single issue. The room was nice, large, clean. The fitness centre has everything that you could need for a good workout (including cold towels and water). And even though its located in a bit of a sketch area, its close to all the good restaurants. They also have juice at the front in the afternoons which I found to be a huge seller for me!

The room I was in was dreadfully depressing. The interior design is retro and outdated and reminded me of a repurposed concrete apartment building, while the lobby has a modern feel. The bathroom was really tiny and sort of clean but the bedsheets had red droplet stains on it as if they weren't washed properly when setting up my room. The only thing I liked about this hotel was that there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby for dining out.

This Westin used to be a premium property and one of the best places to stay in Edmonton. They have now relegated this as an 'Legacy' property in the Marriot portfolio. There is no longer a Marriott Lounge, which means I will never stay here again. As a Lifetime Platinum Member, a lounge is a must. I was able to convince the staff to give us a breakfast voucher for one day for each room, it was an uncomfortable conversation. We were told that we had to switch both of my rooms mid stay because there was a plumbing problem. Although they offered to help us move, this was a huge inconvenience (especially with 2 babies) and there was nothing offered as a gesture of appreciation.

Restaurant service was awful, we actually left before we got anything.Food is insanely over priced as well.Beds were not great, pillows were awful, both foam and down terrible. No microwave. They say free internet but you get a charge on your bill when you leave. I was lucky and they waived that for me.Parking is first come first serve so even if you pay for parking you are not guaranteed a spot if you leave and come back. Most rooms are “double beds” but are more like twins.. we had to make a bed on the floor out of blankets for my husband because you are not allowed cots in those rooms.Rooms in general are way over priced for what it is as well.Pool is small and no hot tub.The room service attended we had, is the sweetest women ever. All though she was over worked and seemed to be all alone she really tried to go above and beyond. She might be the only good thing about this hotel. I wish I got her name so I can recognize her in this review.

We had a great experience from check-in to check-out. Front staff were always pleasant and efficient. The lobby smelled amazing, and the bottled waters, lemonade, and coffee are a really nice touch. The rooms were clean, and the service staff were great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. Will definitely come back here.

Shout out to Taran S for checking us in taking great care of us he’s a man of his word told us anything we needed he will take care of it. We needed another night the hotel was at high occupancy and he was able to keep us in the same room for another night. Front door service was excellent. The whole experience made it a home away from home in Edmonton!Very comfortable beds, refreshing, clean environment. Good energy in the location. Truck was too big for underground parking no problem parking in the lot was covered and really close by. We will be returning

The Westin was an incredible experience, quite possibly my best hotel stay. The team here lives and breathes customer excellence. This was the first time at any hotel that I felt the staff were truly genuine in their kindness, focus on care. From the moment I entered, I was greeted and taken care of.Most notably, by Gerard B, the Omelet chef and Ken, one of the doormen. They went above to ensure I was accommodated.I wish I had grabbed the names of the front desk staff as they were all incredible. The only feedback I have that is constructive is the gym is a little lacking, but, I need to temper my expectations here. The breakfast buffet was incredible and loaded with everything. So i highly recommend it!I can't wait to stay here again.

Disrespectful & DiscriminatoryThese are the two words that come to mind from our last stay at the Westin Edmonton hotel. We had booked our stay through a family member who graciously allowed us to use her family discount. Apparently this is a cause for concern for the Westin employees. As we checked in for our stay, which was originally supposed to be from Sunday to Wednesday, they told us they only had our reservation down to stay till Tuesday. Which mistakes happen, it’s totally understandable and post long weekend there should be a solution to this issue. As my partner was politely asking her to speak a little louder as she was very quietly trying to explain the rate issues, she proceeds to yell at my partner as if we have offended her. This was red flag number one.Our second red flag, the employee had stated that yes, we can accommodate the additional day. But once we returned to the main lobby they revoked their accommodation and said “No, we can’t accommodate you at this rate”. If you could not accommodate us to begin with, that should have been stated. It was very clear that these individuals for some reason did not like that we had discounted rates for our stay. After a 13 hour drive, all we wanted was to check into a nice room and instead we were met with attitude and disrespect. It’s totally understandable that mistakes happen with bookings, and we would have paid the extra amount to stay, but they obviously had a problem with us which was not worth our time.Absolutely no class, will not be staying at the Westin in the future.
