Bulk Barn

The cleanest and most organized Bulk Barn I've ever been in.

Bulk Barn is my go-to for baking ingredients of all sorts but especially nuts. They're always fresh and reasonably priced. Packaged nuts at the supermarket are iffy at the hest of times and way overpriced. I just picked up a kilo of walnut pieces that will keep well in the freezer and cost me less than half that amount would have at a grocery store. And then there's the candy... :)

It's not arranged the same as other bulk barns so wasn't sure where stuff was located but overall they've got all the usual stuff. Didn't try any more of the spices as I find them to be fairly bland but bringing your own jars is a great way to help reduce waste! They're always happy to weigh them for you - don't need to wait in line.

First time ever brought my daughter to Bulk Barn on Danforth. Clean & bright store. Friendly staff. One of the greatest bulk food chains of all time. It serves the purpose of getting you all your bulk needs, we even got some cookies for our dog too.

I think this is my favourite store! I love shopping here. We bring our own containers, and the staff is always awesome and helpful at checking them in. I am very impressed by the variety of wares! I haven't investigated the soap or refrigerated food stuff, or even the pet food, but the dry goods available here are much more varied than the grocery stores. I can find any spice, flour, or grain ingredient i need here. I mostly go to this location and find it to be very clean and efficient, and the staff always working and maintaining everything. I always feel like I got a good deal here, and leave with a good feeling. I also enjoy not having to unpack anything when i get home, and not having to throw away bags or Styrofoam. I will also add that the food is always as fresh and delicious as i could hope it to be. Thanks :)

Wonderful store with great staff! They were very helpful and fun to talk to as I figured out my Leafs cupcake project. It’s my go-to spot for baking supplies (and candy!).

Spoiler alert, it's not a barn. And bulk is even a bit of a stretch. But I quibble. What it is is a great place to reduce your ecological footprint through reducing packaging to enable you to feel slightly less guilty about buying huge volumes of candy. And I'm starting to wonder if they pump extra oxygen into the air because the staff are always unfailingly friendly.
