My favourite go to place for food when I’m alone. When other food courts have no one waiting this one always has a line, long or short.The food is great, especially .Ko.1, the house special, but I think the cashier can be a bit more friendly and approachable.

Try this place for the first time and surprised by the quality of the food. We've ordered their specialty pork chop and beef noodle, they tasted just like we ate in Taiwan! Pls. Keep the good work!

I was in the area and I decided to drop into Metro Square because it has been a while since I have visited the food court.My wife really wanted some Taiwanese classics. So what can remind you about Taiwan any more than a classic Pork Chop rice bento combo right? I got the #1 Pork Chop Rice & #9 Chicken Thigh Rice combo. The portions are plenty for the price.I found the service to be quick, helpful and courteous. So no issues here. The food was bang on. The taste, flavours and textures hits home. It feels like you are are back in Taiwan and hitting the night markets. I will come back for their famous beef noodle soup at a later date.Happy Eats everyone :-)

They are famous for their Taiwanese fried pork chop Bento Box and very tasty fast food located inside of Metro Square food court. However, the room for improvement (the sole reason for not getting the 5 stars) is these Ladies at the front really need to learn how to interact with customers in a respectful & courteous manner !

Got the beef brisket on rice for about $12 cash and was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't planning on dining here but I happened to be in the plaza and was looking for something to take home for dinner. The beef was very tender and the rice was a much higher quality than what I tend to expect from Chinese takeout places. It was almost like sushi rice. The best part was the sauce, thick and rich in beefy flavour with umami and sour notes. The vegetables were bright and fresh and the overall portion was excellent especially for the price.

We ordered the pork rice and chicken rice for takeout. The taste were okay but somehow there was extra protein in the cauliflower. I called and wanted an apology. However, while I was telling them they should have washed the vegetable thoroughly. The lady who answered the phone said, it is very common thing we always eat bugs" YIKES.....I was then offered a dish of greens. No thanks

Fast and convenient spot to get an authetic Taiwanese bento box. It doesn't taste AMAZING but sure hits the spot when you are craving for Taiwanese food. The rice was a little bit overcooked for my own liking but it's understandable since food is prepared in advance so there is barely any wait. The pork chop tasted similar to when I had it in Taiwan. I wouldn't mind visiting again and trying other dishes.

$10ish a box. 排骨 remained crispy and same quality as before. A bit greasy for me but it’s alright. No drink. Portion is too big for me but I think may not be enough for a big man.

Saturday lunch time and we came here to get some lunch.... it was very busy when we got here. I wanted the Shrimp Fried Rice but they said it would take over 30mins to cook? I think they wanted (pushed) the Bento box style meals so that they would make more money from them instead of frying my fried rice. Very disappointing as I can see at least 2-3 people in the kitchen so really no excuse not cook what I wanted. So instead of waiting 30mins I ordered the pork chop with steamed rice which everyone else was ordering and didn't have to wait.Prok chop is deep fried and was not dry and had good taste to it. My Bento box also came with Taiwanese cabbage and yu choy, boiled egg and deep fried tofu cubes. Everything tasted great.I have read some of the bad reviews about mean attitude from the staff, it's bad that staff here have a tendency to be on the rude/loud side.. it doesn't matter if you are chinese or not.
