Escott (Meredith) Reid Walkway
Named after Diplomat and Scholar, Escott (Meredith) Reid, Glendon College's first Principal (1965-1969) this path is a popular place with dog walkers exploring the ravine.While Reid was Lester Pearson's Chief Aide (1946-49) he help devise the idea of a Collective Security Alliance for Western Democracies (NATO). He also helped shape the United Nations, was the Canadian High Commissioner to India and the ambassador to West Germany, as well as an author.
