The Hub Calgary (Student Housing)

I absolutely love living at The Hub Calgary! The location is incredibly convenient, with close proximity to SAIT and UofC, and has easy access to the bus and train station. The unit is beautifully furnished with modern amenities, and I love that the rent includes a gym, internet, and heat.The resident lounge is a fun hangout spot with pool, table tennis, and foosball. The laundry and the gym on the top floor with a nice view are fantastic. Plus, they have a parcel room for hassle-free package deliveries. The community events like National Plant A Flower Day, stampede party, and many more are a great way to meet fellow residents.And the best part is that my room has an amazing view!I highly recommend The Hub Calgary as a cozy and welcoming home for students, including international students.

I love the fact there’s a feeling of community and belonging at the hub. As an international student, it reminds me of the love and care I used to receive at home. I love it so much and I look forward to experiencing more of these.

Definitely an awesome place to live in! Has great amenities - all the appliances are top of the line and everyone here is great! Security is amazing as well. Recommend it for any students looking for places to stay. (They even had a free Perogie day!)

Great building, friendly staff, reasonable priced, secure. Centrally located - within walking distance to a schools and stores as well as c-train station. Bonus - they have monthly themed events. Would definitely recommend you check it out if you're a student!

I haven't lived here but to all future tenants, just wanted to share my experience with awful leasing managers. they will be very nice to you when they communicate but in reality they don't respect your time, money or as a person. When I called, someone said there is a availability and come look at the apartment. So, i went and they said there is nothing available. So, they lie just for you to come and view? no respect of anyone's time. And they are so rude in their emails. I have lived in so many apartment complex in california and have never experienced this. Worst management ever especially for students.

I’ve been here for a fews years now. As a student living in my own suite with no roommates, this building is lovely! Planning to stay for my 4 year degree. The views are amazing (I’m on a higher floor). The team at the Hub coordinates fun events for us so even if we are new to the city and don’t have friends yet, the events help us mingle and also bring some fun into our days. Some of the events they hosted this year so far, was a murder mystery, paint night (Hailey showed us an abstract medium to paint on and I painted out of the lines and loved it), pizza party, Chinese new years (red envelopes, dumplings and other delicious yums, and came home with an adorable bunny calendar), and I even got a slice of cake for my birthday month! All complementary and no event was ever an extra charge for us residence.They have an on site staff and a reception front desk. Everyone I’ve spoken to so far were always willing to help and had excellent communication skills. They also have on site maintenance. I messaged them about an air filter replacement and I received one in a reasonable amount of time. And they have on site security patrolling the perimeters at night.I’m an outgoing, bubbly personality and the staff really make you feel welcome here. The Hub team strives to create a community enviroment through their events and customer service and occasional interactions around the building.10/10 recommend if you are alone moving to a new city.

I have been living here for close to 2 years and honestly this last year has been awful and the only reason I haven’t gotten out is because they make it almost impossible to break your lease. But management at this building is run by people who do not care about their tenants they are always rude, there is always an elevator broken, washing and driers most of the time aren’t working or are never cleaned so they are disgusting and they actually raised the prices which is unbelievable. There are no windows and their AC does not work I contacted them to see if they could fix the AC and they said they won’t be doing anything. So I am currently in my 26° apartment unable to do anything. These are unlivable conditions and no one cares, they will be nice to you and get you to sign but trust me this place has so many more issues and each month it’s a new one. Do not live here this is my worst decision and if I could get out I would!

Best building, very new and always clean has a nice big lounge room with games and all rooms have AC, what else you need ?;p

I Loved the Stampede event that was put together by the lovely and hard-working staff members! I hope I can join in on the other fun activities they put together in the future!
