Wes is amazing went to him to get a tattoo done of my dogs paw print that we lost 2 years ago.Hands down he did such a great job that I will definitely recommend his shop to anyone.I do intend to have more tattoos done and I am definitely going back to Wes to make my vision come true.

I've had several tattoos done by Wes over the years. He's a great artist and a great person. Presently working on a full custom sleeve and even unfinished I get compliments all the time. Highly recommended!

Wes Virtanen is one of the best tattoo artists around in my opinion. I have been going to him for the past 3 years and he is one of the most friendly and personable people I have had the pleasure to meet.He has had over 30 years experience in his professional and I believe is one of the top artists in his field.It is well worth the trip to Courtice and to book an appointment or consultation with him. You will not be disappointed.

Wes has done at least 90% of all my tattoo work and I couldn't be more chuffed with the results. Really intricate, delicate work all the way through to very bold, custom work that he and I discussed collaboratively. Wes has an amazing eye for artwork, placement, and also completely respects any particular requests that a client may have. Cannot recommend Body of Art Tattoo and Wes (and Chelsie, who, as an administrator and liaison for the studio - of course!) enough. Seriously: GO.

Absolutely love hanging out with Wess and having great conversation while receiving beautiful art work at the same time! Wess is very light on the needle and makes for a comfortable sitting. We’re currently working on a full sleeve and he makes sitting for hours quite bearable.

I live across the country, in Victoria B.C., every time I am back in Ontario, he is very flexible and makes sure he has room open for me!I recommend him to anyone and everyone, his shop is very clean and he is very professional!
