I travel all the way from Gatineau, Quebec for the quality of care that The Matted Mutt provides for my two American Bulldogs. Melanie is both gentle and knowledgeable when it comes to grooming and bathing my dogs who are both allergy prone. Not to mention, the location is unique!!! I definately recommend this grooming salon to anyone who is serious about wanting their dogs taken care of!

Melanie did an absolutely fantastic job with our Louie today. We are so happy with her services… you can tell she is very passionate about what she does. Melanie was sending me photos during the grooming session (he’s a puppy and it was his first grooming) and it just made the experience even better. I felt like Louie was definitely in great hands! This was the best experience I've ever had with a groomer ! My dog is small she's a maletease yorkie and she's non shedding so her hair gets matted very easily and is hard for me to wash cut by myself , when I made an appointment it was fast and easy ! Very comfortable and friendly environment ! The matted mutt did an amazing job on my dog and the pricing is also super affordable ! Check it out everyone !

Friend of mine recommended me that place and we had absolutely amazing experience. I loved how Mel took care of our puppy nails, fur and Bella looks cute with that cut.

Mel is more than just a groomer. She’s like an extended member of our family to our rescue dog who has trust issues and suffers from intense levels of anxiety. Her gentle nature and passionate love of animals shines through, and our dog feels like he's completely at home with her...So much so, that our Olie actually gets excited to see her because he knows all the pampering that he will receive. :-) Thank you for making our stinky faced dog look so good and smell great every month!

I was a little unsure about having our dog, Loki, groomed. He needed it badely. Burrs seem to love him! His tail looked like a bird's nest. However, he is a bit of a wild boy having come to us from northern Manitoba. I needn't have worried. Loki loved Melanie right away.We sure appreciate all the hard work and patience she put into him. She did an amazing job and she certainly had her work cut out for her with our wild boy! Thanks for your dedication and perseverance in getting him looking so handsome again!Your labour of love was much appreciated, Melanie.Thanks again!
