FYidoctors - Saskatoon - Market Mall

My son had an appointment at 3:45 pm on November 1, 2022. I called to confirm the next day's visit yesterday morning. Then I was told it was December 1 at 3:45 pm. I was confused, so I called again at about 4 pm yesterday, a lady picked up the call and told me the store changed the time without any notice to my family. Just wondering if this happened only to me or also other people. If it just happened to me whose English is a second language, is it racist to confuse me? No matter bad service or racism we won’t be in Fyidoctors anymore.Thank you, Patrick.I understand admitting mistakes and apologizing, but dishonesty is not acceptable. I went for a dry eye exam and Dr. Koroll was great. Very friendly and made you feel at ease.I was given some products and the girls at the front charged me for my exam and the products separately. A few weeks later I got a call saying I owed $180.00 for the products that were given to me.I went down to the office personally to talk to them. The girl at the front was not the nicest, however, Dr. Koroll came out and settled the issue. I gave them back product that wasn’t used and did not have to pay for the other products. I let them know if they would have told me at the time the products cost that much I would have declined. I believe the girl at the front desk made an error when she charged me the first day and then tried to cover it up.I will probably use them again as I really liked Dr. Koroll’s professionalism.

Love the convenience of FYI being in Market Mall. My glasses broke due to a defect and they were still under warranty, Siobhan gladly exchanged them hassle-free. A month later I needed a stronger prescription so I kept the new frames and Siobhan worked tirelessly with me to ensure all my needs were met.

I got my eyes examined with all the newest technology in vision care, new glasses (and because I got my glasses ), -30% off my contact lens order :) Thanks for the great service, and fun atmosphere - I feel that my vision care needs were met beyond expectations!

Usually reallly great service but this time wasn't. So the situation is that last month I went In to see if I can get them repaired,and I cant because they aren't sold anymore, whatever. So I book a appointment for June 7th,3:00p.m that was today. I've been dealing with old pair of glasses from 6 years ago. I was actually looking forward to seeing without a glare or pain in the eyes.i guess I have pain in my eye until middle of July. Close to two months that searing pain in the eyes. I lost all my trust in this establishment.

Sold me frames and lenses which the lenses we’re supposed to be ultra high index but we’re Coke bottle thick. they argued with me that it was just the size of the frames that made the lenses that thick. I wasn’t born yesterday I’ve been wearing glasses for over 50 years. this is the first time I’ve ever had somebody in this business, try to rip me off!

Had an appointment at 345 to get my eyes checked as a 3 month follow up on my laser eye surgery, and they 'forgot' to call me to tell me my optometrist went on mat leave early. No warning my appointment was canceled, terrible customer service.

I used to see Dr Kerr at atrium eye care centre in Saskatoon, I loved going there!! Before Dr Kerr retired he was practicing out of FYI Doctors before retiring. I decided to go to market mall. Very disappointed, it seems to me they just want your money and after your glasses they want you out! Initially the lady that helped me pick out my glasses didn’t want to bother with me. Maybe spent 2 minutes tour glasses down took her a second to measure my bifocals and she was done with me. There is more but I’m just saying to go somewhere else if you want the service you deserve.

Very unhelpful unless you are initially buying glasses. Loved waiting on hold for 5+ mins to be told I need to come in person to get a PD measurement from a pair of glasses we just got from there.... Silly***Directed at the response from the company***Good info! I thought the PD measurement we just got a month or so prior and you used to make her glasses would still be good.... Guess we need to come into the store for every little thing.... But on the plus side we can be told that a spare set of frames from online are not as good even though they are the exact same frame. You might want to just say sorry instead of making excuses?
