The Little Tart
Best tarts I have ever had. The pastry is lovely; light and flakey. We each had different ones and they were each as good as the next! My key lime was light and fluffy like a mousse. The lemon tart had shreds of rind, adding beautiful tartness. The pecan butter tart was so flavourful and the flavours perfectly balanced.The owner was patient, helpful and friendly. The experience was most enjoyable.Get there early to avoid disappointment. They close once sold out.

A beautiful, locally owned butter tart shop. A new selection of tarts is available each day. Make sure to get their early so you can have a pick of all of the selection.

Simply delicious! The owner is such a patient and kind man. There are a ton of different flavours of tarts. All very well done and fresh. Plus different cookies and squares. There is also art work for sale here. Only suggestion would to be go early in the day and bring cash!

The most incredible butter tarts in Ontario!I recommend arriving early to get the best selection before they sell-out.I also highly recommend the Naomi bars.It's worth the drive; you won't regret it!

Amazing little place in Haliburton! Great variety and unforgettable taste. Hand made and baked fresh. Crust just melts in the mouth. Flavors are spot on. Best tarts I've had!! Can't wait to go back!

Visited the The Little Tart for the first time this weekend. This shop is a gem! These are absolutely the most delicious tarts I have ever tasted. They are truly a treat not be missed when in Haliburton. Can't wait to go back!

What delicious tarts! They have more flavours than I would have ever expected in the small town, but boy do they have BIG flavour. A must stop if you are near Minden, Haliburton, or travelling through. The owners are exceptionally nice. A must visit shop. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks Bill!

Fantastic tarts, and great value. Also, the owners are fantastic. We got the free bike rentals from Haliburton rotary and had a nice stop for tarts.

My wife went in around noon and they were sold out of all tarts but butter tarts and ONE lemon tart. She grabbed 5 butter tarts, one lemon and a chocolate chip cookie.I don’t have a sweet tooth so I went for the lemon tart. IT WAS DELICIOUS.My wife was in heaven eating her butter tart and the whole family enjoyed the goodies. the kids enjoyed their cookie.we will definitely be back and line up at 10 am to get our hands on everything they have !Again, the lemon tart was hands down what lemon tarts in heaven taste like!!! A must try!Thank you!
