Great selection of teas, pleasant staff, too bad they no longer accept cash. I had to walk away from my purchase as that is all I had.

I placed a large order on Sept 19. On Sept 24 I received an email saying my order is delayed. There is no indication on how long it is delayed for. I called customer service today September 28, 2022 to find out how long my order is delayed for. They told me that my order was delivered on Sept 23, 2022. I did not receive my order and why would they email me on Sept 24 telling me the order is delayed if it was already delivered? They are refusing to cancel my order. They already have my money but are not delivering my tea. Warning for everyone out there, this company is a scam.

Such a bad attitude... asked for ice tea of the day ... she gave me water with 3/4 ice and said it's PEACH.... it tasted like water..... I asked her for a fresh brew.. acted as if she is deaf and made me pay... left the water on counter a left .. b##$$ch can have a free drink...

Does not accept cash as payment, cash is legal tender and should be accepted everywhere. The banning of cash payment has negative consequences for many consumers, those who prefer to use money for budgeting purposes (a lot of seniors do this), those who don’t have a connection to a bank (estimated 3% of Canadians equivalent to 1 million are unbanked), those who do not want the surveillance of payment providers considering the way they track people now and of course the fact that not allowing cash greatly benefits the credit card companies which charge your business fees every time a card is used. Refusing cash is ignorant and given it is legal tender it should be accepted as payment, there’s not Covid as an excuse anymore, cash should always remain King, it’s still estimated that 1/3 purchases by Canadians are made in cash. Anyway you lost my business until you change this, I will not support any businesses that elect to do this. A cashless society is a terrifying concept and if it isn’t to you then I suggest you do some research.

Spent a lot of money last night to purchase some tea that are sold for $300 and $400 per kilogram. When I pay this much for my tea, I expect some level of respect and care from the seller or service provider. The person who was filling my order pressed and tapped the tea leaves into the bag with the metal spoon several times and turned the precious tea leaves into dust. When I showed my disappointment, she basically did not care and kept doing what she was doing. My ask from DavidsTea owner(s) is to make sure they educate their employees to learn to have some respect for the customers who are willing to spend high amount of money for a tea that is considered to be luxury. I usually don’t buy tea from Davidstea but this incident made me not wanting to go back ever. I am sorry to announce that you lost a great customer who is willing to pay a lot for their tea during this economically challenging time.

Jamie was absolutely fabulous. I received a milk frother for my birthday that I had issue with. She quickly called the store manager and was able to replace my item. Thank you for your amazing customer service! I will be back!

Small shop, but it's nice to see. Daughter ordered a refresher cold tea, and it was delicious. Didn't even know you could do that. I always thought you just made them at home.

Went to purchase some tea for my wife and I was told they do not accept cash. They told me to go to another store and buy a gift card and come back. Cash is still the best currency and I will not support any brand that does not take cash.I don't want to hear from David's tea on my review about the rediculous view that as a company they decided to stop taking cash. That's fine because as a consumer I have decided to stop spending my money/cash at your store.
