Temple's Country Weddings

We got married in 2017 and the staff at Temple's went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. The food they prepared was delicious and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I'm so glad we chose Temple's and I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I got married here last weekend on May 10th. Truly the day could not have been more perfect and this was all thanks to Temple's. Moira and the rest of the staff were amazing from the time we booked the venue in 2017 through to the end of the wedding night. They were always available for questions either by phone or e-mail and they were prompt to get back to us anytime we needed assistance. We chose most of our vendors on their recommendations and this couldn't have been a better choice. They're clearly well connected within the industry and putting together a team of vendors who all had worked together in the past was a blessing.The food is spectacular and the property is beautiful. When we arrived the morning of the wedding they were set up both inside and outside due to weather and allowed us to make the decision on where we would be most comfortable. Due to the cold temperatures we did get married inside and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.Moira was right there the whole day solving any problems that did arise and making sure the whole wedding went off as planned. I have nothing but glowing praise for this venue! I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else. The best part is that we can visit the venue for years to come during their sugar bush/restaurant season.Thank you so much to the whole team. My husband and I were married here last Sunday and it was just magical. I cannot say enough good things about the setting, the food, and the people. They are so kind and accommodating, and they really make you feel comfortable and welcome. The garden and forest are utterly beautiful and our guests really enjoyed being able to walk around and bask in the premises. The hall is breathtaking!Strongly recommend the chocolate terrine for dessert!

This wedding venue is 20/10! The food, staff, ambiance, and overall rustic look is perfection! I can’t tell you how many people came up to me at my wedding saying how perfect the venue and the staff were. Phrases like “Moira is an absolute LEGEND”, “Sherry is the best”, and “Michael is the sweetest man” were commonplace from our guests. Not only were they professional and super helpful, but they were interacting and mingling with our guests and having a grand old time! Getting married at Temple’s Sugar Bush was the second best decision I have ever made (the best being marrying my husband!). We enjoyed every second of our day and would recommend this venue to anyone (quite a few of our friends are getting married here or have already, and we can’t wait to come back for future weddings!). If the staff at Temples happens to read this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most magical day of our lives! We appreciate your kindness, hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail (especially when it came to pivoting when we fell behind schedule). Michael even came by with cold, wet towels for us to place on the back of our necks when we were feeling the heat after the ceremony during photos! The absolute BEST food, decor, rustic look and staff that any bride could dream of! Thank you!

From the moment we walked through the door, my husband and I both fell in love with this venue. After meeting Moira, it became clear that this was where we were meant to be married. Not only was the location absolutely stunning, we also have the opportunity to return again each spring when the restaurant is open for maple season. After the many months of planning, we truly felt like we were a part of the Temple’s family. Moira and her excellent staff were with us every step of the way! From late night emails, to panicked phone calls, every worry was alleviated by Moira and her team. The planning process was a breeze with Temples, who also offer on-site catering and use of various beautiful decorations. We picked the garden site for our ceremony and were blessed with good weather, but gladly would have been married in the beautiful building. Moira was confident that we would have a perfect day and had told us if it rained they would do everything possible to get us outside. Moira made sure that before the wedding she was up to date on all of the details and was aware of all vendors involved (who all spoke highly of Temple’s). On the day of, I was confident that the wedding would go smoothly in Temple’s hands. They had lists of where all of our decorations were to go, wrote on chalkboards for us, and even added a few special touches! My bridesmaids commented on how much better they felt having someone to cue them down the aisle. Not only was I at ease with Moira greeting me at the beginning of the aisle, but I also felt like a princess having my own personal “dress train fluffer” at the beginning of the main aisle. After the ceremony, staff were constantly circulating with appetizers. My husband and I were delivered our own special plate while we took photos. We got numerous comments on how delicious our appetizers were and how so many people were worried they wouldn’t have room for dinner! The mini fish and chips and maple glazed bacon wrapped cheddar were especially big hits. We were able to attend a food tasting prior to the wedding and had such a hard time deciding on what food to have because it was all so delicious. The staff was attentive during dinner and any concerns were taken care of immediately. Prior to the wedding dietary restrictions and allergies had also been discussed and planned for accordingly. Our vanilla custard in a waffle bowl for desert was another especially popular hit. The staff quickly changed the room at the front to create a dance floor after dinner. After the wedding, everything was cleaned up and boxed up incredibly efficiently for our parents to take home. It was a hard goodbye and we could feel the genuine love from Moira and her staff towards us. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and respect from these individuals. Our day was truly perfect because of Temple’s and we cannot wait to visit again in the spring. Anyone who chooses to have their wedding here will not regret it. We got married at Temples Sugar Bush in December 2016. It was the best day ever. The incredible staff made the day and whole planning process so easy. They were very accommodating and helped us have our perfect wedding. It is beautiful no matter what the season. The food is delicious. They set up and took down all of our decorations and the let us use a lot of decorations that they had at the venue free of charge. Very profession and personable.

We had our wedding at Temple's last weekend (May 11th).We reached out to Temple's in late 2017. Since the very start, the staff has been incredibly helpful and welcoming. As an out of town couple, they provided us with recommended vendors, flexible options, and were able to accommodate our busy schedules.Moira and the team did everything possible to have us married in our preferred site (the forest), and had backups prepared in case of bad weather. The venue looked spectacular. The food was fantastic. The staff members made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable.The day went off without any complications. It was by far one of the easiest days we've had.We received so many wonderful compliments from all of our guests. They loved the uniqueness of the ceremony site, the quality of the food, and the warmness of the staff.We would like to again thank everyone at Temple's Sugar Bush for everything they have done leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day.

My husband and I got married at Temples in June 2022. We had the absolute best experience every step of the way at Temple's. We would recommend anyone to get married here. They were supportive and helpful with anything we needed. We had the most perfect day and would not change a thing, all of this was made possible by the amazing team at Temple's!!

Temple's is such a beautiful and warm venue for weddings! I had my own wedding there last month and have nothing but amazing things to say about our wedding day. The staff at Temple's are so attentive, accommodating and on-the-ball! It started to pour rain mid-ceremony, and without missing a beat, the staff were already inside making space for us to finish our ceremony. Everything, including the decor and fine details were perfect. And the food - out of this world! Would highly recommend Temple's to any Bride and Groom-to-be!

My husband and I now joke that we got the Derecho Insurance Package for our wedding. We were married at Temple’s on the Saturday of the May Long Weekend storm. As the storm hit, the entire Temples’ staff stepped up to help ensure our guests’ safety and to pivot the schedule to keep everyone entertained as they rode out the storm. In the end, we were even fortunate enough to have our outdoor ceremony just like we hoped for. The Temple’s staff went above and beyond for us that day, including sending out Moira to identify safe routes from the venue back to Perth and Ottawa to ensure that our guests could make it home safely. Words cannot describe our immense gratitude for the support, patience, and cool headedness of the Temples’ staff before, during, and after our wedding.
