King of the North Auction

This week was the first time I used this auction site. I was impressed. Good assortment of items, easy location to find, an impressive set up for pick up and very friendly and polite staff. I will certianly recommend this place to people. I had an issue with an item and it was taken care of. I will be watching for the next good deal!

It started out well but lately actually the last three times we’ve made purchases and received defective items. I get it it’s Amazon returns but a actual check of the items should be done instead of claiming so .The returns girl is very argumentative and for no reason, and has every excuse going instead of having some compassion. So for this a regular buyer I will no longer deal with this.

What a great find this was! I’ve spent way too much $ on stuff I probably didn’t need, but all at excellent deals. Very fair auctioning process, and great descriptions of the items. Staff are really friendly and efficient too!

I have to say I love this place. I've been a customer since day one when it was a live auction. It's amazing how they evolved to online and the new facility is top notch.Staff are super friendly and deals are amazing. They have things you never knew you needed until you saw it listed. Who knew I needed another tool box and a man-made rock for my garden? ;-)

My family and I have been customers here for years and we love this place! I've always been able to get great deals here on things I already needed anyways or luxury items I might not have been willing to splurge on if I had to pay full price.The ladies in the office are always super friendly and great at their job. I've never had an issue coming to pickup our items and I'm surprised how smooth the new system for pickups has been.I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive when I saw the narrow parking lot and the line in the lobby but my fears were quickly assuaged when I saw they had a gentleman posted in the parking lot who directed me to an open spot (he even took my cart back inside for me after I loaded my car!) and the line moved fairly quickly.The cart system was definitely a little confusing to me on the first day but now that I've seen it explained, in response to another review (there are indoor and outdoor carts) it makes complete sense. Could I suggest maybe marking the indoor carts in some way so it's clear that they are different sets of carts? Like spray painting the handles a different colour.While it's more of a line that I was used to at the old building, when I thought about it, I realized the time from pulling in the parking lot to driving away with our items is still much shorter than it was at the old building. I'm simply spending that time inside instead of in my car. I think it's a very worthwhile trade-off. They've done a great job creating a well designed, modern, lobby that is pleasant to wait in and the screens showing ticket numbers and wait times definitely helps with that.I also just want to say that I LOVE the move to going paperless as well as the tickets being reusable cards instead of slips of paper that will get thrown out after. Makes for a great experience overall!

They moved to a new place that probably provides better working environment for the employees but surely not a good buying experience for the customers. Parking is limited and narrow. Good luck maneuvering if you have a truck or SUV. Canada's largest online auction has the world's smallest parking lot. A dollar store has a bigger parking lot than them. There was long line to pay and a wait time while they pick your item. You now get charge 2% if you pay with credit card. Same company different place. Don't get why they say the credit companies charge them. Can't wait in the comfort of your own car anymore. Employees pick your items all over the warehouse, walk all the way in front to hand your item but won't walk several yards to your car. That's their parking lot (several yards). If you are picking up multiple items they will collect them in a cart and have you transfer to complete identical cart refusing to trade the cart with an empty. You have to stand in a crowded room now like an airport on busy hours. Not a good experience anymore.

I have been participating in their auctions since they began, and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If there happens to be a problem with an item or purchase, it is dealt with quickly, and resolved to everyones satisfaction.Now, in their new, larger facility, things are even more efficient.Great auction house with great items every time.George R.

Great bidding site. Pickup location is fantastic. Very streamlined, professional, and modern. I love that you can see on the screens the approximate time you'll receive your items.

Great Staff, Customer Service & amazing products for great prices! My other half and I have been told about King of the North Auction by a few family members.. after seeing all the great deals & hearing how satisfied they were with the customer service, we chose to give it a try. We were not disappointed!!! My other half got some new stuff for work that work amazing, and at amazing prices! The deals we have got, was at a great price, we weren’t able to get in stores! :)To top it off, staff are so polite & welcoming!! They make sure you are satisfied & always willing to help!! We definitely will continue to come back! :)
